2025 Offseason Thread

I do have to say, part of his lawyer's rebuttal in the Banner article is just awful. Saying he clearly wasn't banned from a parlor because he received a mass marketing email is a reach. I got a massage on vacation once like 4 years ago and I still get marketing emails from them to this day.
I hate these scenarios because I don’t know who tells the truth. I’m sure there’s definitely truth to it but don’t like to judge without full data so I avoid it. That said, I’d rather he just own up to it and say yeah he messed up and is a changed man. I’d have more respect for that

I hate saying this because it makes me sound like a terrible person...

But from a legal standpoint, he's seemingly doing the right thing. This is going to be basically impossible to prove and he's beyond legal ramifications, so why not fight back and say no?

Legally yeah 100% definitely doing the smart move but it’s also one of those situations where they probably can’t prove it but in the end everyone knows the truth and he never lives it down.

On one hand, gotta do what you gotta do.

On the other hand, you gotta live with it

Since the Lamar era began, the Ravens have only caused two opponent turnovers in the playoffs. I think it’s imperative we add a ballhawk or two in the secondary or maintain a consistent pass rush, if possible. Man I miss Marcus Peters

it's technically 3 turnovers in the lamar era
but 1 of them was with tyler huntley as the starter...

for me it's the pass rusher

INTs require QBs to make mistakes or some luck, and the best ones don't make unforced errors

so you've got to either force sack fumbles or force mistakes with pressure or coverage disguise - easiest way to do both of those is to have a great 4 man rush

Spot on. To state the obvious, this is why it’s so important to not commit unforced TOs in the tournament.

next year, we gonna get em.. dont even
Worry about it

So do we now know this is why Justin had kicking problems this year ? Legal and marital issues ? Someone here said early in season Justin was having personal issues .
I refused to believe Tucker was done, like many of you were saying. I'm the one that said it's probably going to come down to some personal issues that he has to work through and we may never find out what they are. I said the same about Marcus Williams.

Fun fact...

I have a very, very good friend that I've known for about 15 years about this point. She is a hotel manager for a major chain. She knows jack shit about football or anything sports related. I woke up to a text this morning saying she saw the Tucker stuff and recognized him as someone that has been staying at her hotel off and on for the past 5 months or so.

benjamin allbright saying it might be 2 dozen women when it's all said and done...

with how critical harbs was of deshaun watson, how can it be anything other than hypocrisy to not only keep him but to have kept him this long already...

if harbs made those comments about deshaun while knowing what tucker had done that's outrageous hypocrisy
That guy rubs me the wrong way he seems to have a vendetta against this organization based on his vitriol in Twitter relies. He says he’s going to try to bring down the organization and a scandal is underway

The team needs to start looking for a younger kicker, to groom b4 Tuck loses it all. Also, a DB opposite Humphrey , Stephen’s got beat alot .ZAY & Wiggs need to get in the weight room .
There's really no such thing as "grooming of kickers". If they replace Tucker, they'll do a combination of drafting somebody and bring in a bunch of FA kickers, and pick the best one.

I don't understand why athletes have a problem with this. In every even medium-sized city in America, let alone Baltimore, it takes about 5 minutes of internet research to find literally multiple massage places that not only encourage the type of services he seeks, but promote them online.

If you want to get a rub and tug, go to a place that gives rub and tugs. Don't pull up at a Massage Envy and expect to get one.
I mean fuck back when Craigslist was something people used, you could find a dozen masseuses in Baltimore alone who would come to wherever the fuck you are to give you a rub and tug. Wasn't hard to find.

Not sure why that is Fishy.

It is actually very normal in situations like this.
It's kind of not though. I think we're conflating these situations with like women who have been raped but are afraid to go to the cops about it. They're different things.

I understand to a certain extent why a masseuse individually may not speak up. I have no earthly idea why the spa itself wouldn't simply call the police. To me, simply banning the person is kind of the minimum. It, in my eyes, says "we know he did something wrong, but we don't think it was egregious enough to involve law enforcement over, so we're just going to prohibit this person from coming here again".

And not saying its "OK", but massage parlors of all kinds deal with this regularly. I guarantee if you walked into even a chain massage place anywhere in a decent sized city, the Manager will tell you that one of their staff gets propositioned for sex acts, while massaging, at least weekly. Most of the time its just by random, regular people who are there to get massaged. Not by Pro athletes.

It’s clearly a power and prestige thing if you ask me. It’s not about the act itself, but the ability to persuade someone that isn’t expected to give those services into doing so.
