2025 Offseason Thread

Ravens checked a ton of boxes here, 2 immediate impact defensive players, fully restocked the Oline depth, got their WiLb competion for Simpson, got their k and RT. The lack of big body DT burns considering how many cracks they had it, but otherwise they really rounded out a depth chart that was looking paper thin at multiple units.

I think you're misunderstanding how it works. It's not like we're out there picking guys regardless of grade because a scout likes a guy. It's an open invitation to pound the table for a guy you believe in as they reach a range where it makes sense to take them.
100%. But isn't it true that the scouts do indeed pound the table for 2 or 3 guys on day 3 every year?

Also seems like we could use a couple of vets/guys that have played NFL snaps at CB for camp. Currently, we have only 5 guys that have played NFL snaps on the roster. And 3 of those guys have had health struggles - Awuzie, JAD, and Tampa (although only 1 year so far on him).

I like the First 3 picks

Our day 3 looks like a complete disaster.

If Mike green ends up in trouble, this draft will probably go down as the worst of EDC’s career. This day 3 looks as bad as 2019 day 3.

To hell with scouts day. Take ownership of your shit decisions, sack tf up and draft some DTs in the deepest DT class I think I’ve ever seen. We need em, they’re available, and we’re passing.
we drafted Justice Hill and Ben Powers on day 3 of 2019. Powers did ok with us and Hill is obviously still here and has been used properly since Roman was kicked out the door.

Soooooo, we keeping Tucker?

Probably not after drafting a kicker.
Wow, I didn’t even realize we drafted a kicker lol. I stopped watching after our first 3 picks. Is he good?

Soooooo, we keeping Tucker?

Funny but in a reverse psychology kinda way its possible the Tucker situation actually HELPED embolden the Ravens to take Green. When you know you are moving on from the greatest K in team history and drafting his replacement the next day, it might actually give you the high ground to take on a guy with 2 strikes.
