I don't feel confident in a lot of things, but I feel confident that 56 has absolutely no shot at this roster because I don't think I've ever seen an OL that small and lean.
Absolutely hate to see the Likely news, but I am relieved that he should theoretically be available for most of the season. Does that open the door for any young guns? Who would benefit from a larger window at either TE or WR for us in the meantime?
It's still early obviously, and we need to see if it transitions to the field when it counts, but apparently Ojabo is having a really good camp so far. May not mean much but he was quiet all last camp and had a quiet season to follow, so maybe a loud camp brings good omens for a loud season.
I feel like this is gonna catch on here at some point so posting preemptively to dampen some of the hype lol. I like Sam and he's got some good sources but he's significantly overreacting to this one based on what I've heard. Wester has come on the last couple of days, but I heard minicamp and the first few days of TC were drops galore for Wester.

I know we’ve had hell years but a Super Bowl contending team that consistently in 2019,2023 and 2024 (our best Lamar teams) loses their top playmaker on offense is not lucky. This could have ended real bad.
We all forgot how lucky we've been last season, except for Flowers' knee. It's a pretty thin line between a paradise and a total disaster in the NFL.

The guys that I’ve been hearing about from local guys reporting from camp, Tez walker has gotten by far the most hype, Mike green, and beau Brade. The latter 2 began getting hype since the pads came on. I’ve also heard some buzz around Aeneas peebles since the pads came onYeah y'all are on it.
Tez on the other hand... hearing that hype is warranted based on how he's been playing
I'm really looking for Tez to shine this year, although it may be tough for him to get the reps. The guys that I’ve been hearing about from local guys reporting from camp, Tez walker has gotten by far the most hype, Mike green, and beau Brade. Everyone is an all pro in shorts.I am mentally prepared to ignore training camp and preseason hype for Ravens rookie WRs
Yeah he's kept it up since the pads came on. I heard he was giving Rosengarten fits the other day too. So it's a positive sign. Still early, but better than we've heard from him in the last 3 years so we'll take it.is that in pads?
and is that against any OL worth anything?
rotations and how much he plays in preseason will tell us a lot (especially his snap counts vs isaac)
Bruh i saw a play from tez and i didnt even know that was him.. he looks like he 6”3Yeah y'all are on it.

Even meEveryone is an all pro in shorts.
Wtf is #74 doingI thought that was a TE lol
it would be impossible for ojabo to be a good player for us.. why? because they make our defense too good and thats not allowedIt's still early obviously, and we need to see if it transitions to the field when it counts, but apparently Ojabo is having a really good camp so far. Loop is a real problem. If they know there's gonna be problems, its kinda unnaceptable to be in this position with this roster.Other random notes from my guy:
- They've been in contact with a number of vet safeties but it truly sounds like it's a speed dial situation right now. Brade and Kane are both stepping up like they had hoped so far and they want them to run with it. They also genuinely believe Ar'Darius is in a position to make a late season return, and don't want to block him if he gets there, so they may opt to rotate guys on and off the PS for most of the season.
- ILB back end has been pretty bland. They were hoping for some pop from the UDFAs but Higgins has been quiet. Martin has been better but still not enough to really push anyone yet.
- Unless it goes completely haywire, expect Loop to be kicking this season and for there to be some struggles. They don't believe there's a better option out there, so they'd rather go with the youth and insane leg strength and keep working with him.
- Watch out for CJ Okoye
And then just my personal opinion:
It does feel like we're due for some roster shuffling here in the coming days as well. Obviously light at TE and seemingly light at RB with the UDFA missing a couple of practices in a row. Need someone to take preseason snaps and I'd rather it not be anyone of importance. Meanwhile, we have 12 WR and 17 OL rostered which is insane.
That's kind of the point though. They thought or still think there'd be similar problems with any of the other available options this offseason. They'll pivot there if they have to but they didn't or don't expect better results. Can't just will another Tucker out of thin air unfortunately. Options were what they were.Loop is a real problem. If they know there's gonna be problems, its kinda unnaceptable to be in this position with this roster.
It's the last fucking thing Lamar needs. He doesn't need to do risky bullshit because he has no faith in Loop
