Injury Thread (2018 Season)

I think it's time to start a new injury thread as we now have our third ACL tear of the off season workout programs. It sucks to see players go down to a season ending injury at any point of the year but three so far in May. Add Rams DE Morgan Fox to the list with Hunter Henry and Paul Worrilow.

- Chargers lost TE Hunter Henry to a ACL.
- Eagles lost LB Paul Worrilow to a ACL, moments after releasing Mychal Kendricks.
- Rams lost DE Morgan Fox to a ACL.

Looks like Steelers backup Tackle Jerald Hawkins went down during OTA’s with an apparent knee injury. They say he was screaming in pain and it didn’t look good.

Looks like Jake McGee, a Steelers backup Tight End tore his Achilles during OTA’s.

A pair of NFC North Rookies have torn their ACL and are done for the year. Lions 7th round pick FB Nick Bawden was injured in practice and it is believed to be a torn ACL. Vikings UDFA Hercules Mata'afa also tore his ACL in practice.

Broncos may be without Shane Ray to start the season after having a fourth surgery on his wrist and will need three months to rehab following the surgery. The Broncos did not pick up his option year for next year and as we saw, they drafted Bradley Chubb as his replacement this year.

The Panthers have designated OT Matt Kalil for IR/Return as he will be getting his knee scoped and the team wants him to have a full recovery without rushing him back. The team will turn to Taylor Moton at Left Tackle to begin the season.
