Training Camp

I agree in bringing him on board. At worst, he should make for solid depth. And he could absolutely bounce back. I just wouldn't call him a prime candidate for a bounce back since there wasn't a significant indicator, i.e. injuries or scheme, that seemingly hampered his performance. I see it as closer to a toss up, but he'd be worth a look nonetheless. If he gets released that is.
Which he probably won't. He has been for most of his career anyway, been a great at best, decent at worst center(excluding last year). Those are rare in the NFL and the center position is the most important on the line. It's unlikely either of the two suggested moves(Norwell or Wood) are to be made.

15 players not practicing today. Humphrey likely re-injured his hamstring. This team is running out of time. Harbaughs over the top conditioning has probably created soft tissue issues as they probably all have muscle fatigue.

Put a fork in this team. They cannot stay healthy. None of them. Stanley is still out too.

17 players not practicing today. Still think Harbaugh and the strength and conditioning prgram have nothing to do with it? Still think stanley is just dealing with '' camp stuff'' ? You can thank Harbaugh for a good number of these injuries.

Since the Patriots practice is harder in terms of conditioning then logically by your definition the Patriots should have more injuries?

how do you know that? Why is it we lead the league in IR every year?
Sorry but every day its a new hamstring injury and a non contact injury.

Harbaughs practices are not the reason. Last years preseason was low on injuries. I've said before and I'll say it again. Many coaches use to have two a days prior to the new collective bargaining agreement. It is not tougher now than it was back then. THIS IS NOT ON HARBAUGH OR THE STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH

explain why we are always IR leaders and why this year we're going to break records on IR? Why are the rest of the teams nowhere near our situation. Not just IR but guys that have missed training. Yeah, 1 team out of 32 leading it for the past 3 years?

sure

I could ask you why other teams have lost more of their top players and you couldn't answer it. It's attributed to bad luck. Btw, it's well documented that Belichick has a tough training camp. However he had to tone it down after the new CBA because he used to have two a days.

The one thing I'd look into if they haven't done so are the type of kleet they are wearing. However, I'm sure they have done this. Nine percent time knee injures occur without any contact at all. Young was practicing on his own, Flacco was lifting in his house, Dixon was practicing on his own, etc etc etc. But we should continue to blame Harbaugh, because it has to be his fault.

The Ravens have not lead the league in injuries in 2014-15-16 and this year although we have more injuries than all the teams, we haven't lost more impact players than other teams. Is it Hugh Jacksons fault that the Browns lost 4 or 5 qbs to injury last year,

Was it Harbaughs fault when we didn't lead the league in IRd players and were closer to the bottom as well?

actually non contact and soft tissue injuries are a good indicator of flawed conditioning programs. So far the only impact injury was siragusa

Hamstring injuries are happening around the league and have been happening for years and will continue to occur.

overly fatigued muscles and/or ligaments can give in and tear if overly strained. the human body is not designed for such consistent and overly strenuous running and cutting.

Harbaugh should have completely toned down the practices.

Anyhow, i'm curious what the over and under is for 30 players on IR this year for the ravens.

Under.

You should check our other teams a little later in the season and see if we are leading then. We haven't lead the leave in each of the last three seasons. Even in 2015 when we had 19 on IR, the Giants had 2015. The Green Bay packers had the most on IR when they won the super bowl. It's not how many are on IR, but who is on IR.

You are seeing young players go onto IR around the league because they haven't been in an NFL strength and conditioning program that long.

And overly strenuous running and cutting is part of football. If you can't deal with it, then watch golf
