overthecap and spotrac disagree based on their projections of the 2019 cap but they likely have around 40m in space (but also have to re-sign dee ford)

it doesnt matter how "severe" the incident was - the behaviour itself is unacceptable - its not like there's a rolling scale of tolerable violence towards women (or anyone) where if you're below the bar you're fine - it doesnt matter that kareem hunt "only" pushed her (and forcefully knocked her down with another man and kicked her when she was down), the fact he did any of it is enough

Also - hahahah violence towards anyone. If Hunts altercation was between 2 men then tmz wouldn’t have even bothered paying for that shit. Don’t act like it’s any different.

I can understand justifying a suspension. But you’re living in a fantasy world if you think he should be blackballed from the league for this.

im not defending him at all.. he is a bitch for kicking her for sure.. other than that he pushed her out his face. When she fell he didnt intentionally push her.. im 1000% sure hunt was never gonna knock her tf out.. like how can you not tell.. look at him from when he first walked out the door, he is sitting there all calm and shit. Then when they were grabbing him he was still trying to explain something and you can tell by the way his hands and arms were moving.. he had the chance to knock her out and didnt. His intentions were never to ray rice her lol.

The good ones are. I have never called out of service to eat a meal. I have written 1000 reports in-service, and I have many many many quality felony on-view arrests. If I wasn't leary of giving out my name, I would let you Maryland Judiciary Case Search me.

So the Cleveland Police is apparently as incompetent as the Browns if they think that what Hunt did was a misdemeanor. Who in the right mind in Cleveland writes off a man putting his hands on a woman in a violent matter as a misdemeanor? So many wrongs in this whole entire situation by every party involved here.

The Cleveland Police Department told USA Today that officers knew there were security cameras but never obtained the hotel’s surveillance video because “detectives only follow up on felonies. This is a misdemeanor.”

Are you stupid? You think what he did was a felony? Do you even know anything about what you’re talking about?

The answer to that is no. For a dv case to be a felony, more often than not it has to either involve deadly weapons, serious bodily harm, sexual assault, minors, shit like that. And guess what, none of that happened.

Simply “putting hands on a woman” does not result in a felony. Shoving a woman does not warrant a felony. If it were a man this is a non story, but if it’s a woman, who was not inflicted of any bodily harm, it should be a felony? Please educate yourself.

You forgot the part where he kicked her. Like @Adreme said, you can forgive the push as she was egging him on and at that point he should have walked away. Walk away he did not, he then kicked her which then turns it into assault.

i have no respect for people who hit women. i swear one of the first fights i got in during 7th grade was because i called a dude a “ bitch” for hitting a girl and someone went and told him what i said. With that being said i dont think hunt deserves all this judgement.. he a bitch for the kick but the kick wasnt even harsh... usually id never insult someone intellegence, but anyone that thinks hunt really wanted to harm this lady might be lil off lol. Yes he deserves a suspension but kicking him out the lg gotta be the dumbest shit ive ever heard
