Ya but the Ravens are 2-0 and tied against some of the bad NFL teams. The Bengals fell off a cliff in the past month, the Raiders are hot garbage, and the Falcons could be good if their entire defense was not on IR. The team has Super Bowl aspirations and they seem to be dragging their feet against scrubs.

This is true. I’m hoping we keep Pierce and let Brandon go. It’s very doable we just extend Pierce and make his cap hit so that it’s light early and heavy after so we can cut Williams when we can actually save a substantial amount.

Williams has regressed. Pierce is more athletic than BWill. Only one more season to dump that awful contract.

Have you even watched Flacco the last several games he played? He was horrible. We are freaking 4-5 with Joe how tf do you people think he’s our best chance to win?
And if neither of them can carry the team to the playoffs, Lamar should be starting. Joe held the team back the last several games, there’s no denying it.

At the very least, he put together a scoring drive that led to a FG. Wasn't pretty, but he had solid numbers in that drive.

Everytime I watch a Ravens game it just dings in my head the fact that we passed Calvin Ridley for Hayden Hurst, who can't make a play even if his life is on the line. Then so many freaking drops. Geez... I miss Q and Steve Smith

Yeah. I like how he quickly seemed to get over those mistakes on that last drive. I think if we had more time we would’ve been more aggressive but knowing the clock we just wanted points.

We sure came out swinging against the Bengals week 2. Week 3 against the juggernaut Broncos started picture perfect as well. Steelers game was a beauty too. Outside of the Bills, who have we dominated? I'll wait....

We are tied and get the ball back.
Atlanta's offense hasn't done anything since the first drive and that was a field goal.
Lamar is having a poor game in terms of turnovers, and he missed Brown once, but at least a few first downs have been dropped by his receivers.
Marty is ignoring the running game even though it's working.
I am not thrilled with Lamars performance thus far, but this is to be expected early in his career. I think you judge his performance exclusively on how he handles himself in the second half after some problems in the first half of a winnable road game.

How can you go from bitching about people bitching about Lamar to immediately bitching about Hurst who is playing TE, aka the position where it usually takes a season to really grow into a good NFL player? How do you go from A to B and not see the logical disconnect?

I don’t mind the debate over who should start in the long run but everyone has to remember that today Lamar IS our best option and we need to win this. I bristle when it starts to seem those who argue against using Lamar revel when he makes mistakes so they can be right

That is actually why I am worried because the ATL offense is not that bad. There is no way they play that bad in the second half.
