Lamar (ankle) taken off Ravens' injury report

Lamar Jackson (ankle) wasn't listed on the Ravens' final injury report for Week 15 against the Buccaneers.

Jackson hurt his ankle late Sunday's loss to Kansas City, but it didn't limit his participation at practice this week. Now entrenched as the Ravens' starter, L-Jax will have a chance to shred a hapless Bucs defense in Week 15. We're not sold on Jackson as a passer yet, but his rushing ability keeps him in play as a weekly QB1 in all formats.

Note to all NFL analysis: If we can run the ball at will, guess what we're going to do? That's right - run the football.

One day, Lamar will be called upon to open it up more, but as long as we keep facing shit run defenses, we're going to amass 8 minute TD drives without throwing the ball once. But what's going to happen when we face much better run defenses? I guess we'll find out vs LAC. Then maybe again in the playoffs.

It is also worth noting that the injury referenced was sustained while trying to drop back and pass. Having your QB not run the football does not guarantee your QB won't take a hit.

That damn KC game ... I can't get it out of my head. It totally reminds me of our loss to PIT last year. A game we let get away and if had won, would pretty much automatically be in the playoffs. Hopefully TB isn't a repeat of the Indy game where we were supposed to win easily and barely made it out with the victory.

But I'll absolutely kill myself if the parallel continues if we find ourselves in a situation where we just need to win week 17 to get in and lose on a final drive versus the Browns.

Enough of repeating the same pattern of the past. We gotta take care of business in these final 3 games.

But it will guarantee that the hits he does take will be of the “defenseless” variety

The difference here is that the future looks totally different than the past 2 years, and not making the playoffs will be disappointing, but not nearly as crushing as years past

Would love to see the defense perform like the offense did a couple years back... I swear it's not cause I'm starting them this week. IF we can't manage at least 2 takeaways, something is wrong.

BRUH, Texans win didn't affect us at all LMAO.
To be fair, there are a number of ways it could impact us. There next 2 games are both pretty difficult i wouldn’t be even a bit shocked if they lost both. If they lost today (and the crazy list of ifs follow) it’d give us the advantage of having the 3 vs4.

Wild card wise, it’d be better if we tie the Titans (h2h) instead of the titans winning the division and us losing the tie breaker to the Texans

Very unlikely the game ends up mattering but a long list of If could make it

is it raining bad?
Yeah it’s been coming down hard for 2 and a half days now. Should be a slopbucket out there.

I’m actually very worried, fuck the ground game, lamar has had a problem fumbling, and I question his ability to throw in the rain big time.

On top of that he’s had a tendency to slip up when running, ever since college, he takes off so goddamn fast the ground comes out from under him, or his upper body doesn’t move fast enough for his legs lol, I’m expecting an ugly game that we still win, but I’m expecting some turnovers and a lot of self inflicted sacks from lamar.

16-10 ravens.
