Around the NFL: News and Rumors

Highest percentage of off-target passes this season, excluding throwaways and spikes, per ESPNStatsInfo:
1. Josh Allen, 22.9%
2. Sam Darnold, 21.1%
3. Tom Brady, 20.1%

What does "off-target" mean? Missing a target?

no idea just thought the stat itself was funny

from seeing who's on the list id say that the stat itself is probably more an indicator of which qbs have the worst receiving corps in the league but i dont know the specific measurements

LOL

Nathan Peterman - QB - Raiders

Raiders signed QB Nathan Peterman.

While still working for ESPN then, coach Jon Gruden called Peterman the most pro-ready quarterback in the 2017 draft class, one that also included Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson. Gruden thought Peterman should go "no lower than the second round." He went in the fifth and has been one of the worst quarterbacks in NFL history through his first two seasons.

LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

also this from the NFL is transparent and ridiculous:

https://twitter.com/E_Reid35/status...gordon-says-stepping-away-focus-mental-health

this is so mathematically improbable and of course it would happen to eric reid who has an active grievance against the NFL - they're literally just looking for any reason beyond collusion that he wouldnt be on a team and it seems they really want him to fail a "random" drugs test

7 times in a season is unprecedented... like it's mathematically possible but incredibly unlikely

also it's being reported that Falcons are cleaning shop at coordinator - dan quinn is safe but sarkesian and the DC are both potentially expected to be gone at the end of the season

Yeah it kinda comes across as targeting Reid because he has the audacity to go up against the league as you mentioned. Goodell got them goons man.

it's literally so unprecedented that Ron Rivera literally responded to it by saying if he saw his name picked that many times he'd go and pick up a lottery ticket straight away
