Next Up: vs Browns

I could see why people don't like Joe Buck. BUT he's still winning for the reason shown below....

Ehhh

We need to take this excitement and pound up on the Browns so badly that they don't ever recover from this beating and know their place in the NFL. That dick of a QB (arrogant prick) has the gall and audacity to keep instigating Hue Jackson and poking him every chance he gets and that is not just disrespectful to the HC that drafted him, it is just disrespectful to do that to anybody that has coached you. That prick shan't make it to his second contract and that is my curse on him.

I agree with you my brother! That cat has been pissing me off with those antics.

I have no issue with it. Hue Jackson with his fake tough guy act is utter cancer to a team. He does nothing but drag it down and then throw everyone else under the bus. Then when he's finally fired he goes around saying that he wanted to draft a different qb to build the team around and acts like if he actually got his guy they would have been better. There's a good reason why there isn't a single person on that team or in that coaching staff that will defend or praise Hue Jackson. The sooner he's out of the league the better.

I missed that. Link please.....

This isn't correct.
He said he wanted to draft different QBs in 2016 and 2017.

He seems to be the savior for Browns but his constant need to taunt Hue Jackson is kind of getting old. I wouldn’t want my QB to get business done and move on.

i mean clearly there was some discord in that QB room - it's clearly not just that Hue went back the Bengals in-season... i reckon there's some shit that went down early in the year in that room and it's not hard to imagine given the way Hue ran his coaching staff (as you can literally see in hard knocks)

Back to the Browns, yeah it'd be nice to get to Baker, but let's also slow down Chubb and their other RBs. Remember how the Bengals effortlessly marched down the field for a TD on their first possession in week 17 last year? Yeah let's try to avoid that shit.

I'd prefer a fast start like what we did against the Chargers except with better execution and playcalling (fuck you M***y).

also importantly we didnt have to face chubb really the first time around and he's been a real difference maker to that team

yeah but he's kind of implying that baker's not the guy - which given the other qbs the browns were purportedly interested in picking (Wentz and Trubisky) it's kinda hard not to think that Baker is 100% the right guy to pick so far at this point (albeit it's only year 1 of baker and Wentz had most of an all-pro type year in 2017)

I think they have both acted like pompous assholes. So glad our young QB has some humility.

Not sure why the Browns QB's stayed in a nice RV while the rest of the team stayed together somewhere else on the Browns campus.

Peanut wins AFC defensive player of the week. Awesome!!!!

I like Baker's attitude. It's obviously going to rub some people the wrong way, but he's got a lot of confidence in both himself and his team. Also, it's not like he's putting his teammates on blast either like a certain other QB in our division tends to do. I have a feeling that Lamar and Baker could be leading this division for years to come and it should be exciting to watch.

Shit i like baker.. i like arrogance/ cocky aka confidence or whatever people wanna call it.. thats something i really never understand. People
Make it seem like something is wrong with being arrogant and cocky when really there is absolutely nothing wrong. Its really just a wack ass narrative. An excuse to be an hater lol.

he's very clearly going after people outside the building - he and hue quite obviously must have never got on or had some sort of beef - but you never heard about it while he was in the building - so baker's not rocking the boat

he's a rallying force in that locker room and that organisation and that fanbase - he's confident and competitive and arrogant in the best kind of way - honest too

I hear you but did Baker do any of that starring down of Hue after he missed a few passes, didn't get a first down or when he got sacked? Or, did he wait for a BIG play that worked in his favour before displaying those antics towards Hue?

If the answer is the latter who's the hater now @Deebo813? Lol....

Unpopular truth: the browns might actually be the most talented team in the AFC north,

Denzel ward being out would be a wonderful advantage..i hope he is

They have two very good gaurds in zeitler and bitonio. This wont be like the chargers down the middle ( which was their weakness).

Chubb is the number 1 running back in the league

I like baker and y’all are wild for thinking he’s done nothing less than bring that dead franchise to life. When they drafted him instead of darnold I said oh shit... because baker is talented enough and willing enough to be who he is. I love a qb who goes against the grain and breaks all the stereotypes of coach speak QBs who always need to be the perfect professional. Fuck that, it’s football, it’s a game of passion and energy, QBs are football players too, why should they be squeaky clean and quiet and humble all the time? If it was a edge rusher or CB or RB or WR acting like baker everyone would love the fire and attitude, but because he’s a QB and breaking the mold everyone hates it.

Fuck that, I like baker and I don’t look forward to facing him twice a year for the next decade, and I fully wanted some homophobic tweets to surface so he could fall to us.
