Was the problem their defense when they scored only 7 points?

I’m so happy we didn’t give that much up for Jalen let’s be honest by the looks of it we have a true #1 corner in Marlon if we resign Peters he is maybe the best #2 CB in the league Tavon in the slot and Jimmy rotated in on a 3 year 24mil contract to sustain his health next year ^_^

Hard to say Peters could be the best #2 in the league when Ramsey and talib are on the same team lol

Honestly, and this may be an unpopular opinion, but I might be more in favor of the Peters trade than the Ramsey one. Ramsey is arguably the most talented CB in the league from a skill-set standpoint, or he's at least up there. And once he gets what he wants, I'm sure that he could turn back into his 2017 version. But with that being said, his performance since then has seemingly depended too much on where his emotional state is. He was a solid starting CB last year, but that's arguably it. He's struggled this season. Peters isn't the talent that Ramsey is, but at least we have an out with Peters in that it's a rent-to-own where we can recoup the security deposit. If you trade all of the assets for Ramsey, you have to pay him either way. If it was a situation akin to Khalil Mack, where you know exactly what you're getting, I'd be screaming for us to pull the trigger. Here though, I can't say that I'm upset with how things have worked out. Now, at least.

I’m aware of all of this and don’t need you raining on my parade and then following it up with more unfounded Zach brown hype

Why the obsession with this guy...
Lol awww sorry to rain on your parade pal. No where near "hyped" on Brown, he is a tackle machine, good defender and it most definitely would not hurt us to add more depth to our defense.

I too thought he was decent. I wonder why they cut him?

We get a great consolation prize and keep our picks. Yanda is old and the OL already needs help on the interior. Still need another pass rusher and a s/lb/ or wr.

This. Just happy we even took a shot on Ramsey offering a 1st round pick package for him. Goes to show you Decosta is willing to make big moves given the opportunity and is a little less conservative than Ozzie has been in the past.

Two 1st rounders plus a 4th is a steep price to pay for anyone, the Jags held out for a while but finally wised up and pulled the trigger.

Boom. ...Like I said, # 22 may be gone after the season's end. I do not care if he's in our secondary while being injury-prone with the addition of Peters.
