Came here to post this. I've trashed Haskins and after seeing this I felt like an asshole. Feel bad for this young man. I hope that org doen't break him like they have the rest of those guys.

like he's not blameless but coaches and beat guys said he probably shouldnt be playing year 1 and the roster is awful and that is just patently disrespectful to sit there and not even look at him - especially when that unit has been awful all year

suggests to me also that he's calling the protections right a lot of the time but they're not being executed - that's the only way i could see him asking that question that way

Maybe I'm alone in thinking this, but there's no way they should be this bad with that roster. He of course could play better but what they just did was telling about the culture of that franchise.

Although I wasn't a fan of Haskins coming out. Hated his tape, I agree the OL is being totally disrespectful by not even looking at him. Interesting that you are picking up on it that way. I remember RG3 throwing the offensive line under the bus. Now, I've heard that he isn't working on improving his craft as well. He doesn't have Lamar Jacksons work ethic. Not many players do.

oh yeah there's been issues with the playbook for sure with haskins - but no other qb on that team has had success this year with that group - he's in the toughest spot and it really doesnt help that the OL are just ignoring him - he at least clearly really wants to win and the rest of that organisation doesnt seem to feel the same competitive fire - there's some decent individual players on that line too - Scherff, moses and penn are all good players (scherff is an all-pro player at times - but not this year)

After the Pats-Eagles game, I'm not confindent things will go our way tonight with a Chiefs loss. After what Rivers did against Oakland and being an interception machine, not sure. As long as they run Melvin Gordon and continue to expose the bad Chiefs run defense they will have a chance.
