Week 11 Discussion (Other Teams Thread)

It only took 10 weeks but the NFL no longer has any undefeated teams meaning the 1972 Dolphins can pop that champagne. Week 11 brings us a Super Bowl rematch that hopefully has the same results, a returning Super Bowl MVP, our latest installment of the Tank Bowl and two of the best young quarterbacks in the league facing off for what will be the first of many encounters. Oh and Hola from Mexico City!

Steelers @ Browns: The Steelers head into Cleveland winning 4 straight while the Browns hope to build momentum from their win against Buffalo. Pittsburgh has moved into the sixth seed heading into Thursday Night but the Browns can remain in the wild card hunt with a win on Thursday. The Browns season has not gone the way everyone projected back in August but the playoffs are still in reach if they stop imploding from within.

Jaguars @ Colts: Minshew Mania did not extend to London and did not have the same powers as London Blake Bortles so now former Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles returns in hopes of guiding the Jaguars to the playoffs. Despite the misses and costing the Colts a better record, they are sticking with Adam Vinatieri once again. Colts hope to keep the returning Nick Foles in check and after Brian Hoyer's performance are hoping Jacoby Brissett returns because if not, Vinatieri won't be their only problem.

Broncos @ Vikings: The Broncos head to Minnesota to take on Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings fresh off their BYE. The Vikings are coming off a huge win over the Cowboys. At 7-3, the Vikings are in the thick of the NFC playoff hunt while the Broncos are down to Brandon Allen at QB and could get Drew Lock back. Looks like another miserable season for Elway & company.

Bills @ Dolphins: The Dolphins are on a winning streak, a TWO GAME winning streak after upsetting the Colts last week. The Bills meanwhile are looking to avoid a two game losing streak after a close loss to the Browns. The Bills had to make a comeback a month ago against the Dolphins with these two teams on opposite trends, can Buffalo do enough to remain in the playoff hunt or will Miami stun another team one again?

Cowboys @ Lions: The Lions seem to have the worst luck in the league. Every time it seems they are close to winning, something happens to them. Detroit now welcomes the Dallas Cowboys to town where they must shake off the loss to the Vikings quickly in order to remain on top of the NFC East.

Jets @ Redskins: TANK BOWL! After some wins last week, the Draft order reshuffled a bit as the Bengals and Redskins hold firm at 1-2 heading into this weekend. At this point, Adam Gase may be a lost cause as the Jets have two wins this season and have had major bad PR in recent weeks. Redskins are starting Dwayne Haskins the rest of the season and with a top three pick likely it's best to see what he has just in case the Redskins may want to give him the Rosen treatment and draft another first round QB next year.

Saints @ Buccaneers: The Saints laid a giant egg last week costing themselves the number one seed with the 49ers loss on Monday Night. They head to Tampa to face the inconsistent Jameis Winston who has yet to be benched. Saints hope to recover following their loss to the Falcons or risk letting the Panthers back in the NFC South race.

Falcons @ Panthers: All Dan Quinn had to do was give up play calling much sooner. Despite the injuries, the Falcons defense came up huge in their first game where Quinn did not call the plays. They now head to Carolina to play spoiler to the Panthers looking for a wild card spot after a close loss to the Packers last week.

Cardinals @ 49ers: The 49ers have the opposite problem of the Kansas City Chiefs. The 49ers have a great defense but a Quarterback whose mistakes are costing the team. They will only go as far as Jimmy G's mistakes take them, and that's not going to be far come January. Cardinals look to snap a three game losing streak and come away with a win that they were close to stealing away a month ago.

Bengals @ Raiders: At this point, Zac Taylor seems to be over his head and the Bengals somehow have gotten worse without Marvin Lewis as their Head Coach. The Raiders are on the up as they are right on the tails of the Chiefs for the AFC West crown in Jon Gruden's second year. Should be an easy one for Oakland as they now have moved into the 6th seed following the Steelers' loss.

Patriots @ Eagles: A rematch of Super Bowl 52 between the Patriots & Eagles in Philadelphia as the Eagles look to stay in the NFC East hunt and once again upset the Patriots. The Patriots coming off a BYE and a loss to the Ravens look to get back on track against an Eagles team that is trying to find the formula to get back to the Super Bowl this season. Maybe the team should have went with Nick Foles over Carson Wentz?

Bears @ Rams: The Rams welcome the Chicago Bears to LA with a banged up offensive line for Khalil Mack to take advantage of. Part of the Sean McVay mystique is gone due to the poor protection for Jared Goff, and the Bears are looking to get back in the NFC playoff picture with a huge road win for the Rams.

Chiefs @ Chargers: Hola from Mexico City where the AFC West takes center stage as the Chiefs look to rebound after their defense once again cost them a game. Patrick Mahomes is a Superstar no doubt, maybe even a generational talent but he can't continue to be in shootouts because the run defense is more leaky than a cracked pipe. Melvin Gordon looks to do what Derrick Henry did and run all over the Chiefs defense and come away with a huge win that could set the Chiefs back in the playoff picture.

I don’t like the Browns or the Steelers, but a Browns win will give us more breathing room at the top of the AFC North, so hopefully they win tonight.

Alright Browns, for one night just please don't be the same old Browns. Use the momentum from beating Buffalo and win this game.

I want the Steelers to get their ass beat but I want the Browns to lose. I'm torn right now. Maybe a tie? Still wouldn't feel satisfied...

that kind of field position is one where harbs probably goes for it even on 4th and 7 i think

Harbs sends out Koch, then looks at Lamar and asks Lamar if he wants to go for it. Lamar says Hell Yeah, Harbs calls timeout and Sam Koch walks off the field feeling sad. Then says to Harbs... "I just want ONE Punt Coach."
