So locking up Stanley is going to get harder and harder if we don't do it at least before Scherff gets paid next year.

that's gonna be the baseline for ronnie's deal then unless a new deal comes and resets the market - scherff shouldnt reset it because he's a guard not a tackle but the earlier we pay ronnie the better off we'll be - lane johnson's guarantees in this contract are worth about the same as the entire value of his 5 year contract last time he was paid (and are as much as he has earned so far in his career)

ronnie's getting 19+/yr i think

Lewan's was 5y/$80m, $50m guaranteed.
I wouldn't be surprised if Stanley cracks a 100 mill / 60 mil guaranteed for 5 year deal. He already has a PhD in that position compared to all he other tackles.

The NFL has suspended Cardinals CB Josh Shaw for gambling on NFL Games through the 2020 season and he can apply for reinstatement in 2021. Shaw was on IR and has not played a game this season.

Ok Mr. Goodell, now go after your crooked officials who look more and more like they are betting and ruining the game with bogus flags to cover their betting habits.
Has he never heard of Pete Rose. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid

A post on social media Friday night shows Cleveland Browns coach Freddie Kitchens wearing a "Pittsburgh started it" T-shirt -- a reference to the Browns-Steelers brawl that led to an indefinite suspension for Cleveland defensive end Myles Garrett and more than $730,000 in fines.

A Browns spokesman told ESPN's Adam Schefter that Kitchens' daughters gave him the shirt "as a joke" and that he wore it to see the film "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood" with his family. The Browns said Kitchens did not intend for anyone to see it and "understands it's not a good look."

Potential good news out of Washington, GM Bruce Allen could finally be on his way out of town following the season.

As reported by Mike Garafolo of NFL Network and as confirmed by JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington, Washington owner Daniel Snyder is for the first time ever evaluating the status of team president Bruce Allen.

Finlay adds that “never in Allen’s tenure in Washington has his grip seemed less firm over the organization,” and that some league sources “believe that Allen’s involvement in football operations is hurting the team’s bottom line.”

I'm sure he will be fined a game check...

Jets S Jamal Adams left the stadium with a walking boot on his left foot after Sunday's Week 13 loss to the Bengals.
Adams played through his foot ailment, seeing the field on 64 of New York's 65 defensive snaps. "I don’t think I could affect the game like I wanted to," Adams admitted after Sunday's defeat to the previously winless Bengals. "I was in a lot of pain." Beat reporter Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News hears he'll undergo tests on Monday to determine the severity of his injury. The former sixth overall pick has been a bright spot for the Jets, holding PFF's No. 2 safety grade out of 89 positional qualifiers.

Big Thank you to the Texans last night for beating the Pats last night to put us in position to take over the number 1 seed if we win out. That being said, no guarantees the Texans even make the playoffs. The Titans have won 5 straight games and play the Texans two times in that stretch. Who does everyone think wins that division?

titans have been great since they benched mariota for tannehill
all those takes i had historically about tannehill just kinda all of a sudden are completely up for grabs - like im starting to second guess myself and think well maybe he was mediocre like that just because the dolphins were that shocking - either way its a moritorium on how ineffective mariota has been

me picking a team in the forum mock seems to be a bad omen for their qb so far (Titans last year and Bears this year)
