would be odd seeing brady in a different uniform but if he gets to pick where he plays you know he'll pick somewhere with good surrounding talent and probably a good OL etc. as long as they pay him enough more than the pats would

With Brady a free agent.... now you start thinking about where Josh McDaniels goes if he takes a Head Coaching job. Could Brady sign with the team who gets McDaniels as their Head Coach?

the dolphins seeded their best players into potential stumbling blocks for the pats all year - dont forget the texans beat the pats with laremy tunsil and kenny stills

and if the steelers had been the 6th seed, minkah fitzpatrick would have been there to pick off tom brady in stead lol

Yet that still wouldn't have been enough for the Steelers to win.

Patriots playing chess. Lose in the WC instead of Divisional and you get a better draft pick. They're forward thinking.

We end up with the toughest matchup of the 3 possible but we should handle the Titans without having to go to the wall. And I couldn’t be happier to see that over rated scummy cheater along with his “fans” lose.

I’m really disappointed with the overall opinion that seems to think the refs blew the call on that kick return. I think they did the right thing by overturning that. Giving yourself up has always been a thing and it doesn’t always have to be a textbook universal signal, waving it off and giving the ref the ball in the endzone is automatic play over. But so many people are acting like fucking nerds and whining about it and saying it was the wrong call and you have to KnEeL to signal a touchback. Like goddamn he could’ve let it bounce out the endzone and it would be no different.

nah man - 100% they made the right call eventually - the ref was literally looking at the player who threw the ball towards him and then he jumped out the way and called it a live ball (which is wrong anyway because it was clearly a forward pass) - the 3 observing referees off duty on the sideline came straight onto the field to get in corrente's ear (probably trying to explain to him the ways he could make the call right rather than what it looked like they called on the field)

anyone who said they have to kneel has not been watching any of the games this season

Exactly. Forward pass is dead ball, but more importantly, using common sense would lead you to understand that a player giving the ref the ball in the endzone is a goddamn touchback every time and players have been doing it since forever.

Absolutely, returners have been doing that same thing for the past several seasons and if they would have picked this playoff game to get strict with that, it would have been incredibly unfair.

what's weird is the ref has the whistle in his mouth ready to blow it dead is looking at the player who's holding out the ball for him and clearly goes to pass it to him but only then does the ref seem to decide he's going to go insane - really odd sequence

True, but I just can't help but not take the Texans seriously in this particular game. Could be wrong though. I hope I am, in fact, because I much prefer a game against Houston than KC.
Frankly it really doesn't matter because we'll beat either team as long as we beat the Titans.
