Someone made the point about Desean Jackson tossing the ball back before he crosses the plain. If no one's close to him should it still be a TD becuase he'd obviously get in? Rules there for a reason and little technicalities like that have been used by smarter coaches. As a bettor, fuck those refs. I needed all the points I could with a Josh Allen led offense and it ended up costing me... along with his dumb ass fumble.

lol. It's not the pats, and it's not petulant. I've despised brady for years, started when he perfected the "QB dive", faking injury and constantly whining to the refs. Not much worse in any sport. He is, was and always will be a scumbag cheater. And yes, IMO he is grossly over rated.

That’s completely different. Since they moved up the kickoff and the touchback returners do all kinds of things, including waving their arms just letting the ball go having it fall in the end zone and the ref blowing it dead. By the letter of the rule that’s still a live ball and could be recovered by the kicking team, but it’s now just a touchback.
