in a heartbeat - he's WR 2 for me only behind CeeDee Lamb

dont get me wrong jeudy's right in that range also but i have mims a tick ahead

i realise that's not what the consensus is saying and that outside of this forum it would be regarded as a wtf? kinda pick potentially but id be all in on mims or ruiz at 28 if either of them make it there (not guaranteed they dont get sniped earlier)

OK interesting. So not caring what other people think, if you're EDC, and Mims is on the board at 20,are you trading up 8 spots for him?

i dont love the idea of trading up for a WR in general in this class - you'll be able to get a comparable player wherever you pick to who you'll get 5-10 spots higher basically the whole way through the WR draft class
I completely understand where you are coming from and this really depends on how the Ravens have evaluated the players and what tier level they have Jeudy, Ruggs, Lamb and Mims. I hear what you are saying and agree with it on many levels.

I wonder whether one of them (or both) are looked at as trade up candidates by our FO. Who'd you jump for if both are there at #20?

dont love the idea of trading up in general - i think the eagles will be in on any receiver that gets near them at 21, the vikings have 2 picks at 22 and 25 and one of them may well be a receiver to try and replace diggs, the saints at 24 would definitely take jeudy or mims if they get there - they've been linked with shenault and jefferson a lot but i think mims would be a great fit there with michael thomas there already, dolphins could take whoever, seahawks probably not in on receivers but always do something wacky

but that run of 21, 22, 24, 25, 26 would be a threat - wouldnt love having to give up the capital to get up ahead of the eagles or vikings but swapping picks with the pats at 23 depending on what it costs could be well worth it to get ahead of the saints if we love one of the receivers left at that point

honestly dont think we'd trade up for a receiver tbh but happy to be proven wrong

but i dont think any receiver trade we make in the first will take us higher than 23 because then the compensation starts getting fairly steep

depends who else is on the board but its unlikely there's someone i like more at that point

that being said i dont love the idea of trading up for a WR in the 1st at all given the depth and quality all through the class

but if i had the 20th pick and mims was there id definitely take him - trading up for any wr is what has me stumped in this scenario

I meant Ruiz/Mims but I guess I got the answer.

ah i see what you mean - got confused
i have mims rated higher on the board but id be more likely into trading up a few spots to guarantee ruiz because of the relative positional value and the dearth in quality of interior OL in the rest of the class - they're close enough comparatively on my board that id go after ruiz in a trade up

that being said again not a huge fan of trading up in general in the 1st round

steelers havent added enough talent and dont have the cap or draft picks to transform much this offseason - big ben isnt going to change enough for them to be a juggernaut type team

it could be the bills if josh allen takes another step, especially with the afc east legitimately up for grabs for the first time since 2003 basically - could be the browns but hard to have more than 1 great team in the same division consistently

it should be the texans but BOB seems hell bent on destroying that team

colts are loaded but rivers is basically a bridge qb which could be enough for 1 year (maybe 2) but not much longer

my guess is it would be the colts or bills

would be awesome for the future of the AFC though if it was the bills and texans so that we had 1 juggernaut in each division

denver's a wildcard but they're in the same division as KC which makes everything a lot more difficult

Yea im thinking bills but i just dont trust allen.. i def dont trust rivers, i feel like he costed chargers their SB chances but with a new scenery who knows hiw he will turn out.. i think lamar is giving qbs motivation to get better. Idk if thats just me being biased or what but i mean pat mahommes def was/is motivated by him.. maybe allen and baker will too this season and put that work in.. this abouy to be a wild season

it really should be watson and the texans but who knows how low BOB can pull that franchise

what does fumble footed mean? (genuine question if that wasnt clear lol)

i was watching those fluid but sharp cuts didnt notice anything particularly striking about his footwork at all
Just like kinda stompy and heavy footed. Maybe it’s so up close and I’ve basically only ever seen nfl WRs running routes from farther camera angles
