I think we actually keep a 4th rounder now from losing Pierce? Which would be a nice consolation prize.
 
Let's get rid of Judon and get clowney ( this OLB class is crap IMO). I'll def feel better about our line then.

Right now, it's a 5th according to the comp pick expert - Nick Korte. They changed a lot of the thresholds since salaries continue to rise. Sounds like $10M APY is the 4th round cutoff now.
 
Per Jamison: “Ravens' deal with Derek Wolfe compared to failed one with Michael Brockers -$18M less in guaranteed money (Brockers was going to receive $21M and Wolfe gets $3M) -$2M less cap hit this season (Brockers was going to count $5M against cap and Wolfe has $3M cap figure)”.

We save cap space and get a 4th round pick next year. Seems a good move.

I strongly dislike this OLB class but I suspect there’s gonna be a few studs to sneak out this year. I’m looking at highsmith as a real potential star
 
i mean i wasnt in to derek wolfe at all but i can get behind him for 3m lol - not really anything to be mad at there for me - certainly not going to whine about it
 
I wanna go on record and say I was on board with Wolfe from the start, and there’s evidence of that somewhere on the boards, I’m not thrilled or anything, but I like the cheap low risk signing for a veteran player who comes in as a starter right away on our weak DL and brings a noticeable upgrade for a year

I remember that. And everyone was saying Wolfe is a douche. Well he’s our douche now.

I just got a look at him. Hadn't watched a lick of him and rushed it out. Good run defender.. decent inside rush. 7 sacks from the interior in 12 games. He definitely benefited from having Chubb/Miller out wide but he's a consistently good reliable player against the run and will push the pocket especially 1 on 1 from the interior.

I know he was well-known in Denver for being brutally honest with the media, good and bad. Would have to imagine it stems from that.
