The Good (?), the Bad and the Ugly: Week 4 Edition

It's a throw every QB is expected to make, especially when a receiver is that wide open you should never overthrow him like that. I don't think he would even score if he came down with that catch, that's honestly how bad the pass was.
Just in regards to Tanks comment, but one common trend I notice is that people often call the receivers bad when they aren't putting up stats. It doesn't matter if we were all so hyped up beyond belief for Maclin. He's now bad and not doing Joe favors. Doesn't matter that he's produced with several quarterbacks in several systems.

We could have TO, Rice, and Moss and if their stats were similar to these first four weeks, it'd be a bad receiving corp doing Joe no favors.

LMAO! ........never mind.
See my reply to PurpleCity.

We try to give Joe every excuse under the sun rather than put the blame where it's justly due. It doesn't matter if the receivers are open because Joe flat out isn't trying to put the ball in their hands.

Tank nor i said that. Flacco missed a wide open td. Perriman should still have a caught it. Pitta boldin would have bailed him out.

There is catches made like that weekly!

He'd still catch it. On one hand 99 percent on qbs make the throw. 90 percent of pass catchers still reel it in

Perriman definitely should have caught it, but it was still terrible placement from Flacco. It's easier just to say that they both played like trash yesterday (along with the rest of the team, for the most part).

Can someone post a link to a video of the throw that Perriman didn't catch? I want to see it again.

Cmon now, I'm trying to remain tactful here but now "Joe isn't trying to put the ball in their hands"? And you just completely ignored my point and wrote some gibberish about the "best he's ever had", and then some crap about "putting up stats". If you would not cherry pick a post, or maybe just fucking read an entire post, you would notice that I made no excuse for Joe's poor play, and merely stated that his guys weren't doing him any favors and making him look even worse than he is actually playing.

I should ask this- how are they making him look worse than he is? I saw that and vehemently disagree, but please share.

Maclin threw his helmet in disgust and walked away from Morhniweg per Cerratto.

I was sitting in the stands in row 4 right behind the Ravens bench and I pointed out to my wife how heated Maclin was. He was seen yelling in Marty's face with disgust....then he turned away from him and walked in the opposite direction and just stayed to himself. He was pissed!

How wouldnt it have been? If he gets off the ground and catches it he can walk roll crawl or whatever he wanted to to get into the ez he was so open
With how far he had to go and how much he had to contort, he's probably falling and getting touched down or falling out of bounds.

I can tell you one thing, on 3rd and long the plays that are being run seem to only want to utilize the middle of the field 5 yards out. I saw 3 receivers all go long, no creativity, NOTHING.
