Yahoo sports cited *** as saying that, so...
Yea I saw that so don’t know what to make of it, but if it is true, perhaps we are serious about getting Lamar another weapon

I wouldn't be surprised if they were at least looking. Doesn't hurt to ask, I guess.

important to note that according to Zrebiec, EDC is likely talking to everyone about everything this time of year and the only time you ever hear about it is either 1) when a move is announced 2) when the other side reveals it

but if we're just talking about inquiries then it's probably true that EDC has touched base on just about anybody and everybody who's ever come up in trade rumours so far (and many who havent too)

it would be much more notable if he'd been reported to have made an offer (like in the zach ertz case)

philosophically unlikely - and what use is next draft if we're trying to win this year lol
it is unlikely, especially if it eats up too much of future picks. This year the draft is supposed to be pretty bad outside of some elite talent at the top or some particular positions like interior offensive line.

This is a big one. Lamar, Andrews, Brown Jr., and Ngakoue (hopefully) next up. Would think it’ll be tough to get 4 in (sorry Orlando) but the big guns are pretty much locked up now

and Schefter with the details...

We got Stanley cheaper than what the Texans paid Tunsil. Tunsil averaged $22M, Stanley's deal averages $19.75M per year.

Eric must have some special cheat code that allows him to do what he does lol.

I mean the Tunsil deal was a terrible deal. Probably just went "If we tagged you twice and then signed you for even 23 million per year you would make xxxxx over 5 years.... how about you we just give you that now?"

It’d still probably be too expensive, but this does open up the tag for Yannick if he kills it and we absolutely need to find a way to keep him around. Just an extremely heavy 1 year hit in what could be a lower cap year. But at least the possibility exists if we feel we need to

Perks of an incredibly well run and respected organization

I still can't believe we signed him for under 20m average, due to Tunsil getting 22m. Not only did Tunsil get more in avg annual salary, he also received more in avg annual guarantees (13.3m vs 11.7m).
