Yeah mosley was different, very strange player, did so many little and hard to notice things that caused so much disruption, little goddamn injuries here and there really altered what would’ve been a stellar career, he bulked up a lot in hopes of staying healthier but instead he kept having nagging injuries and more weight to carry and lost some burst, still was a great player.

Imagining what Patrick queen would’ve looked like if mosley was instead in LJ Forts role makes me wanna cry lol
 
If the Browns lose, we won't see Pittsburgh in Round 1 in any scenario. If the Browns lose and Miami wins, we're heading to Buffalo for round one.
Are Cleveland's WRs eligible to return?

Edit - I take it back - we would also have to lose to go to Pittsburgh.

They also don't have a great cap situation. They'll need to make some cuts to likely get under the cap, and will have very little wiggle room to make any signings outside of the draft.

Guys like Hunter and Barr have large cap hits and large salaries. They could easily be on the chopping block. I think in order for the Vikings to be competitive next year, they'll need to a) upgrade their Oline, which they haven't really done in years, b) have their very young secondary take a major step forward and c) get better play from their QB.

Why would hunter be on the chopping block? Unless its a great trade i highly doubt they will let him go.. barr, not great but is a nice piece to their scheme, however if he was to get cut i wouldnt be surprised. Anyway vikings arent nearly as bad as their record show. Healthy team are theyre likely in the offs this season.

Cost cutting measures perhaps. I doubt he'll be one of them, but he's also only one player. They could lose both of their safeties, with Harris as a UFA for 2021 also, and unlikely to get tagged or extended at the price tag he'll be asking for.

My point is that, even with injured players coming back, they have very few methods to upgrade personnel in the offseason, given their cap situation. Like getting Pierce back is great, but he's nowhere close to the kind of player who's going to win them 2-3 more games a year.
 
Chiefs are resting Mahomes, Chad Henne start against the Chargers. Ben is resting and Mason Rudolph will start for the Steelers.

Jaguars starting Mike Glennon against the Colts and rookie James Robison won't play. No word on Buffalo yet.

Buffalo has a "game plan" but will apparently not disclose to the media. Trying to keep it internal.

Pretty much already know Cole Beasley won't be playing.
 
How do teams let the cap get so bad? The Packers one is quite crazy as I didn't think they were close to being over the cap.

Hey guys serious question. I have this morbid fear that we may lose in the playoffs for the 3rd straight year. For no fault of his, my son will be blamed and it petrifies me about how one would have a counter narrative if the unthinkable happens. The hateful media is just waiting to pounce on such a failure to scream - 'see I told you so' and I don't want to give them that moment. Am I overthinking it because he's my adopted son? Overreacting? Or can somebody console my bad premonition about the playoffs? I've been very wrong lately and that is definitely a comforting thought. How about you guys? How do you feel my son'll do in the playoffs? Will his supporting cast fail him? Will the play calling of Roman fall short again? What do you guys think? Do we actually go on a run and win the whole enchilada?

Lamar Jackson will win his first playoff game in 2021. It will be a comfortable win too. Like totally stress free.

For some reason i really think we get us a win this year.. however, i also thought we would beat titans last year so....

I never believe in the 1 seed teams that just roll right into the playoffs without the slightest hitch, I have never believed in those teams, I didn’t believe in us last year, I let you guys talk me out of my skepticism and disappointment ensued lmao.

this year I feel different, this team feels matured and focused, they’ve been through lots of adversity and come out on top and getting hot just in time, and hopefully healthy too.

Playing Ingram would benefit the CB though. He's lost a step and isn't breaking any tackles anymore.

Well, right now, given that we're only activating 4 healthy Corners on a weekly basis, we don't have that luxury.

Honestly there just aren't many ways I see Ingram being active. It would take an injury to a RB for him to be up. Too many other injuries at other more critical positions, and our depth at those positions is more crucial.

Plus, he doesn't play ST, so you'd be activating a player just to give him like 4-5 carries a game or whatever he would get.

The media is always going to criticize Lamar, fairly or not, so I don't think another playoff loss is really going to affect that too much. What are they going to say that they haven't already said? I would just expect more of the same narrative that Lamar can't win in big games, needs to improve his passing, etc. In any case, my thought and hope is that Lamar will get his first playoff victory this year. We peaked too soon last season, but we're coming together at the right time this year and playing our best ball. It also helps that we won't have a bye week this time so we can continue to stay in the groove instead of getting rusty on extended rest (I really hate how we rested our starters in week 17 last season in addition to the first round bye).

And if we do lose? Fuck it, still not going to feel as bad as the Titans loss. That shit was devastating after watching the most dominant season in team history. We're playing with house money this year so let's see if we pull something off.

This team has been through the ringer this year and I feel like we're better suited to deal with whatever comes our way during the playoffs. We also tend to play a lot better when we're the underdog anyway so I just feel a lot better about this team.

I also get the sense that if we can just slay one of our demons in either the Titans or KC then there will be no stopping us after that. I had the same feeling in 2012 when we finally beat Peyton's Broncos that no other team stood a chance after that. We beat the Titans and/or KC then this team is going to have all the confidence in the world going through the rest of the playoffs.
