The Random Thought Thread

I know people try and bet against Brady and the smart thing to do is to not, but I'm gonna do it here. I think the Bucs will be a good team, go 11-6 give or take a game and will lose in the divisional or championship game. I don't see them making the Superbowl. They brought back that whole roster and it's hard to keep winning if you don't get even better than you were unless you were so far ahead. I don't think they were.
Idk man, it’s very possible the magic can be lost, but that bucs roster was close to the best in the league before they signed Brady and had the draft, then they crushed their draft and they have many rookies expected to go from promising rookie to star players.

In other words, they probably did get better, like a lot better. They went in to 2020 with the secondary and OL being their only question marks, and now it appears every move they’ve made in the last 3 years at those spots has panned out and those young guys are ascending fast. Davis, Murphy-bunting, dean, Winfield jr, whitehead, all those guys were big question marks a year ago, they’ll likely be even better.

then there’s Joe tryon, I didn’t see his latest game, but what I saw of him in PS week 1, holy shit. Pair that speed rush with Barrett and JPP and suh and David and white, goddamn. The bucs might have the leagues best defense, it’s gonna be between us, the bucs, the Steelers, and the rams I think.

I mean I totally agree with you that they are going to be a good team and I agree that the defense is pretty elite. Something tells me though the offense is not going to be as good and that's the difference between being able to win the Superbowl and not. Not expecting something crazy where they miss the playoffs, but something more like losing in the championship game

I dnt see them making SB again neither ,simply cause i never bet on a team to make it twice in a row.. hopefully rams or niners can slow them down

I know Ryan was the enemy for a lot of years, but I have so much respect for the dude now. He’s always sticking up for our boy.

Am i the only one who hopes we stick to our ground game? Most likely we will but i still dnt want us throwing more than we have to..I know we have more weapons now, but lets not get away from what makes us successful.. i mean replacing some of those lamar designed runs for a short pass would be great but i dnt want us going out throwing the ball alot knowing thats not what roman is good for

we will still be a power team and absolutely not getting away from the running game, but I do believe we will have some better designed pass plays and pass the ball some more this season. How much is yet to be determined.

@JoeyFlex5 The cowboys ruined Smith and it's hilarious seeing their fans wanting him shipped out for whatever they can get.
Ima be real with you… I did not like jaylon smith as a prospect, like not at all, even without the bowl game injury I thought he was a second round prospect, and I don’t want him here because he would be an extreme luxury that costs way too much.

Remember many wanted him or Jack. I would have been happy with either and think both would have had success here, but who knows.

Couldn't have been worse than Correa.
