Old habits die hard and most folks still cling to narratives and haven’t watched the ravens receivers perform. GMFB was actually saying Bateman has been disappointing because of his stat total. It’s insane.
I dnt want odell.. knew he would mess up browns chemistry when he got there so i def dnr want him here.. dnt need guys who gotta be forced fed on reverses and thrown screens to get them going. Also dnt need him crying when lamar mess up a pass..send his ass to packers or something they need him more

Agreed. Without knowing what restructuring they did, I'm assuming he's dirt cheap for any team that wants him on waivers for 2021. And if that's the case, I don't know why people think he even has a chance to land with a "contender". I don't see why he would get past Detroit to be honest. They're arguably the most wide receiver deficient team in the whole league.
Even if he somehow manages to get past certain clubs that are out of contention entirely, there's a whole list of teams "in the middle" that are still somewhat reasonably in a playoff hunt that would love to have a talent like him for cheap.
I look at Washington, Philadelphia, Chicago, Atlanta, San Francisco as teams that are saying to themselves "hey, we could be a wildcard team if we add a play maker and things bounce our way".
Coincidentally in this case, those are all NFC teams. And as I look at the NFC playoff picture, its super top-heavy. Everybody knows that Packers, Rams, Bucs, Cardinals and Cowboys are really good. There's still two open wildcard spots and there's no obvious teams that seem to be in that running. Saints are 5-2 but just lost Winston for the year and aren't getting Michael Thomas back. They could easily fall back. Beyond that, you've got Carolina, Atlanta, Chicago, Minnesota, Seattle, San Fran, and Philadelphia all sitting with 3 or 4 wins. One or two of those teams is going to make the playoffs most likely. If I'm somebody like Philadelphia or Chicago, I'm saying "why not me with Odell".
All these people listing the Packers, Ravens, Saints, Raiders, Chiefs, etc. out there... I don't see how those teams win waiver claims for this guy if he's as cheap as it sounds he will be. If he manages to make it through waivers, then sure, all those teams are in play. But I doubt he does.

I love GMFB, but I caught that too. Like......this will be the 3rd time he sets foot in an NFL stadium. It's unfair to him to expect him to light it up instantaneously.

Kay gets a pass on everything because of that lol. As for Odell, I mean sure he would help us but I don't want him to disrupt our locker room as we have something special we are building. It would be funny if the Lions claimed him lol, if he thinks Baker is bad, wait until he has Goff throwing to him.
