Many didn't want to pay over 10m per year but when he was having a hard time landing a multi year deal than we were ok with him or Tretter and could cost less due to age.
 
Ima just say - thank god Deshaun doesn’t have Landry and Odell

but seriously im hoping there are more tentacles out there - he did say there were multiple balls in the air which suggests that it's not just the 2 NTs that we know about - and we know they had interest in nose tackles even while we were in on ZDS so i imagine there's other stuff in the works

no idea what that would be though...

looking at who's on the market still:
JC Tretter
Bobby Wagner (we know the ravens had/have interest)
Jadeveon Clowney (seems unlikely)
Calais Campbell coming back?
Melvin Ingram (pivot off from ZDS to another veteran who has some interior rush flexibility which we clearly value)
 


this is about bozeman but probably relevant to ZDS too
they make plans - they move on them - if you're no longer part of the plan they've already moved on to the next thing

well I also like Crab Bisque, Clam Chowdah and Maryland Crab. If I want rich, I go bisque, If not I just go with Maryland Crab Soup. I also like when a restaurant offers half crab bisque and half maryland crab.
 
is the way the Rams are doing things sustainable? Like are there repercussions for what they’re doing cap-wise since they don’t give a fuck about picks? They gotta be in cap hell within the next few years correct? Seeing what they’re doing has me a bit jealous

I dnt even know if there is an answer to this lol. Guess we will have to find out. I feel long as they have some foundation players, they should be fine.

Well it clearly worked for them lol. They went all in (albeit idk how sustainable it is) and meanwhile we have one playoff win since Lamar took over and look how other teams with franchise QBs have surrounded them with a plethora of talent

When they had only foundational players with a bad QB, we slaughtered them.
They soon won't be able to pay everybody and stay within cap bounds, it's just not possible.

I mean we had talent also and still couldnt get it done..

I think its sustainable and they will continue to do so.. now staying competitive while playing with their cap is different..can very easily pick the wrong players in a offseason that dnt fit their team
