i mean that's literally what that means - that they had lots of ongoing talks with lots of different guys...
the way he phrased it suggested we'd still be looking actively for pieces to add which was exciting that we werent done

this is the full quote btw:

"I think it's a fluid process. We're excited. We think we still have a lot of room to improve at various fronts, at every position. We were very excited to get the comp picks this week – the two fourth-round comp picks. We've got 10 draft picks; hopefully we'll have a few more. We think it's a deep draft. We've spent some money, but we still have some money, and I think you'll see over the coming days that we're not going to stand pat. If we have the ability to be flexible and find the right type of players, we'll do that. We're just at the beginning of the process. There are so many different balls in the air right now. basically he was saying, we're not done yet, we're actively pursuing several guys right now at several different positions - that's all that was

ferguson's on the team because he's super cheap and because the rest of our EDGE room is coming off surgery

boykin's only on the team because we dont need the cap space yet and nobody's offered us a pick to take him off our hands...

just because they're still on the team a week into free agency doesnt mean they'll still be there in september

My guess is they won't be in September
 
Deal around 4-5 mil with incentives. Seems affordable..

Ravens may end up keeping them both. Boykins is one their better special team players and they Ravens have lost Levine and Board. Ferguson probably the only eperienced Sam linebacker they have with Bowser and Oweh recovering.. These guys both probably won't receive their fate until the draft is over but we shall see
 
Not gonna lie, idc if i knew what i was getting outta that iowa center… still wouldnt take his ass with the 14th pick.. we be fine with a avg guy there that we will likely find.

I’ve been against taking Linderbaum at 14 the entire draft process and I think the team feels the same way you do. I think it’s going to be TCC’s job to lose. Been developing with the team 2 years now and is showing no desire to add a vet there
