If Rossis top 10 are all gone at 14 and you try to move back but can't and are forced to stay put, that means the selection pool is probably :

Davis
Olave
Penning
Linderbaum

Anyone else we think would be in the BPA discussion?

Learning curve has been steeper for him than I assumed.
New DC might benefit him - Wink's defense needed a lot of communication - I hope Macdonald somewhat streamlines the way our defense is set up. When I watch his tape you can clearly see when he's guessing and when he actually knows what's going on.
Queen wasn't the starter when his final year at LSU began. He became the starter and was still inexperienced when he was drafted. He had a lot of room to grow.

where is Rossi's top 10?

I just heard on the radio 105.7 The Fan some bs rumor about potential Ravens sale. My God I hope not. It was our friend Voldemort so who knows.

Hopefully false, but may explain the Harbaugh extension, or lack thereof (at least from no reports)

What are you saying?

Like, Ownership changing hands?!?

The fuck??
Pretty much what JLC said in summary was:

Claiming that potential sale of the team due to rumblings he’s hearing combined with talk league wide about Steve making less appearances to the fans and at NFL meetings but instead seeming to distance himself from the team. Claims that NFL owners are wondering if he’s still interested and some other crap. Said Dick essentially started to do more of what Steve did by the end of his time. Just a lot of rumor crap but really crazy because this is the first I’ve ever heard of it or anything close to it. Said that it’s strange Steve wasn’t even at the Sashi intro press

Steve has always let the football guys do the football shit. Lot of conjecture

Steve has always been in the background when it comes to the team. He's not hands on, he hires football people to worry about the football stuff. I don't know about the stuff in terms of not being at meetings but I'm assuming Cass or someone else went in his place.

Yeah I agree, I was shocked by his comments. Wasn’t sure if I missed something and I never listen to 105.7 The Fan anymore so wanted to ask around here. Seems very sus to me

in grades terms my next 4 guys (so far... but only guys with any potential to break into the top 14 are WRs at this point so point is somewhat moot)
(in no particular order)

Jordan Davis
Chris Olave
Andrew Booth
Daxton Hill

of those 4, right now Davis and Booth feel like the more realistic options - Olave's great but so hard to imagine us taking a WR for the 3rd time in 4 straight drafts in round 1, and daxton hill is at a devalued position (in draft terms) that we just spent a bunch of money on

if i had to pick a list of 4 or 5 options that i think are most likely for us at 14 it would be these outcomes:
- Trade down into the late teens or early 20s (would be looking at karlaftis, devonte wyatt, andrew booth... linderbaum as the wildcard)
- Jermaine Johnson
- Derek Stingley
- Jordan Davis

I imagine we will hope for one of Stingley, Sauce, Johnson make it to us or some other crazy dude to fall. Walker could be an option too. He makes some sense for us due to how we like to do interior pressure with edge dudes

bisciotti's only "media" appearances since like 2017 have been on PSL conference calls
but he's never over-stepped and gotten in the way of football guys... mostly just in the background occasionally making suggestions but mostly just being someone to bounce ideas off and go to for advice (for example suggesting that if flacco was definitely our guy, that there was no point risking someone jumping us and just trade up and go get him and be sure)

would be wild that owners would be thinking about getting rid of him when no one's even vocalised the idea that snyder (and others) should sell their teams...

i dont think sauce gets near us tbh nor walker - if walker is there then that would be insane and a super easy pick - he's been one of my guys since early in the process

Trade all the way down to kc…

Trade all the way down to kc…

idk who'd trade up that far with us but if my top 10 guys are gone and we dont want jordan davis or booth then i'd say trying to get down to the mid-20s would be great (if we can get value)

i think the difference between the player who gets picked 15th and the player who gets picked 35th isnt going to be huge this year

but the difference between the player who gets picked 5th and the player who gets picked 15th might be massive
