Derek Carr really said he would rather settle for being the 4th best QB in the division, play in a deep conference and retire if he got traded lol. Dude learned nothing from Stafford leaving Detroit.

Who's the better team that he would get traded to where he'd have a shot at a SB? I'm not seeing any teams with high-level rosters who are a QB away from a SB team like the Rams were.

If he got traded this offseason (which was never on the table to begin with), it would have been to teams like the Colts, Commanders, Seahawks, etc.. I don't see any of those teams as in better positions to compete for a Lombardi than the Raiders. Especially after this offseason.

The other thing I'd say is... why would you want to leave Vegas? He's got $110M in career earnings, lives in a state with no State income tax, pretty good weather most of the year, and he's got 4 kids, of which it looks like at least two are school aged. He already had to involuntarily leave Oakland once, and Vegas is a much better spot.

I can certainly see somebody like him not wanting to start over in a completely different city at this point. I'm not sure he's one of those QBs that plays until he's 40, but playing another 4-5 years in Vegas, collecting $200M, and retiring, seems pretty reasonable to me.

I understand a lot of these pro athletes just keep playing until they can't anymore because they love the game so much and can't really fathom not being players, but nothing about Carr has given me that indication.

My wife was a hospital nurse, now a doctor at a private practice(thank god). She used to have some crazy hospital stories when it came to verbally abusive patients, mentally ill, drug addicts etc... Nurses are some of the hardest workers in the medical field, and often deal with some really tough situations.

Yeah she's used to being abused at work. This was a night off at the local bar, anyway I'm probably not welcome back lol
 
Anyone that disrespects hospital workers can get these hands. Fuck those people

So was she abused because she was a nurse, or is that unrelated?
Just questioning if one has anything to do with the other. Basically... did they know she was a hospital worker?

Its all relative to the individual situation. If women are disrespectful to men, men can be disrespectful to women. Both are human beings. Neither deserves special treatment over the other.

Just depends on whether the disrespect is warranted or unprovoked. The latter is the biggest problem these days.
