Signings, Cuts, Trades

Just a look at the top WRs available now…

Odell Beckham
Jarvis Landry
Will Fuller
Julio Jones
Cole Beasley
TY Hilton
Emmanuel Sanders
DeSean Jackson
Antonio Brown (just for the irony)
Only Jackson or Fuller could really bring the Brown speed, maybe Sanders & Beckham. I mean any of those guys would be good in a role. I think I’d stay away from Jones though. He’s done, same with Antonio mentally.

Jarvis Landry isn’t gonna play with Marcus peters, straight up.

Also, sigh, back to the receiver talk.

haha i kinda wish theyd done this trade earlier lol - so i could spend some time on some of these other receivers - ive done a few but there's still loads i didnt get to

you really think that he and MP couldnt get over it if they were on the same team?

Idk man that was a lot of disrespect. Plus how the fuck do we replace Hollywood with old slow Jarvis Landry?

Fuck man get Roman outta here. I hate this bullshit offensive philosophy
I don't mind the offensive philosophy of being a run first team, you can still lean heavy in the run game, look at the Titans. The problem becomes the fact we have Greg Roman and his inability to adapt in certain situations. Hollywood would have walked anyhow but we can't keep letting Roman scare players away. Is Bateman going to do the same? Roman needs to go... Lamar has saved him too many times and Greg gets credit for Lamar bailing out Roman.

i mean it seems pretty clear that this is make or break year for Roman - he's got an OL, and will have all his RBs back and still has Bateman and Andrews, we'll see if we can add to the group to add another WR too but it's not like there's going to be excuses this year for Roman

but also we werent a run-first team in 2021... and Hollywood was 10th in the league in receptions lol

My thing too is how does this affect incoming FA’s and rookies at the WR position? Seeing Hollywood do this has to be a big hit on our recruitment

Yea I’m of the opinion this is his last year here. Either he does great and gets promoted elsewhere or doesn’t live up to expectations and is let go much to Harbaugh’s chagrin

Roman has created a tainted image of the Ravens. As Simba said earlier, we're kinda becoming soft as an organization letting anyone and everyone go if they ask for a trade. They've all been on offense during this Roman Era.

Usage of Hurst
Usage of Hollywood

Brown does not count as it's just stupid.

We don't look so hot right now as an offense for outsiders

hurst wasnt about usage it was about playing time

it's really only hollywood (and maybe Dez too) who's complained about the system

Who was the other that asked for a trade? Hurst?

Brown has been in the top 10 in targets.
Can't ask for much more than that.
This year has been the first year since I've become a ravens fan when we didn't care much about the wr class. This is also the first year we don't have a cumulative pf wr board.
