Kadarius toney has the Lamar Jackson effect as a runner, he is terrifying because you can have him lined up for a routine tackle and closed in by multiple defenders and in a blink he can make all of them miss and be headed elsewhere. Defenses would be scared shitless trying to defend toney and Lamar at the same time, even more so than Deebo Samuel I think

unfortunately I don't have any specifics, but he hasn't shown up to camp and should being a 2nd year starter that missed a bunch of games to injury. Had a fight that tossed him out of a game, think he had the same issues in college as well. I like Toney's talent and for those reasons I'd like him on the Ravens, but I don't know the specifics of his concerns, but they must be pretty bad if the Giants want to trade him this soon.

I think its easy for people to envision him in our offensive system with his dual threat abilities

1. He's a playmaker. Fans never have a problem envisioning any playmaker in any offense quite frankly.
2. He apparently doesn't want to be a dual threat, so fans should be an envisioning him as purely a receiver in this offense and extrapolating from that. That part doesn't interest me at all, and certainly not for the $ or draft pick capital required to get him.

I still don't understand his reasoning for saying that. Crushing his trade value. It would be like Lamar requesting a trade and only wants to be a pocket passer.

Well he kind of has to. If he wants to be traded, he generally needs to give an indication of why. He can't make an argue its about compensation, because then the Niners would just leak whatever contract offer they've made to him.

If he's serious that he wants to be traded because he doesn't like his usage, its kind of important that any team trading for him knows that. Otherwise, they'll just use him the same and he'll be pissed about it.
