Signings, Cuts, Trades

It's time to let Proche and Duvernay eat. Let's see what they're made of. Year 3 and we should see a jump for them. You need unselfish guys to play in this offense and those two have high potential IMO.

Brown has been in the top 10 in targets.
Can't ask for much more than that.
This year has been the first year since I've become a ravens fan when we didn't care much about the wr class. This is also the first year we don't have a cumulative pf wr board.

for that very reason lol
i guess we'll have to restart that whole exercise for next offseason lol

i mean i do think we need to try and add some twitch and speed to the team - hollywood's a big hole to fill and duvernay's not that guy and proche's not that guy

need someone other than bateman who's an outside vertical threat

Yea I’m of the opinion this is his last year here. Either he does great and gets promoted elsewhere or doesn’t live up to expectations and is let go much to Harbaugh’s chagrin
I think we needed new coordinators at both positions after last year but maybe Harbaugh felt that would have been too much change at the same time and proved counterproductive.

I really feel like it wouldn't have come to this if Lamar didn't get hurt mid season. Hollywood was on pace for insane production before Lamar got injured and fell off afterward, I think that's why he was disatisfied.

At some point we're going to have to roll back the tape and give guys a shot. I would like to replace Hollywood but at this point it's not going to be easy given the cap situation and the fact that we have bigger needs. The run game is coming back so IMO that factors into this.

that's due to @rossihunter2 not spending enough time with the WRs for that very particular reason. We didn't need one........until Hollywood was traded lol

That's what I find interesting about this whole thing. Dude was on track for really good stats before Lamar went out, and then the production fell off because well... Huntley had no deep ball. Curious if this would be happening now had Lamar not gotten hurt, but also sounds like Hollywood's mind was already made up after season 2.

Yeah that's what I'm assuming, he mentioned after year 2 he was really upset with the offense. I honestly think the guy really doesn't like blocking, he was on pace for a fantastic year before Lamar got hurt. Arizona is a good place to play but they're going to want to commit more to the Ravens game and with Hop and Moore there it's not like you're not going to be competing for targets......

supposedly Hollywood wanted a trade at the end of 2020

Make no mistake though... it's about the money. He wants that big check and didn't feel like (a) the Ravens would pay up and (b) that he could put up enough stats to get the big bucks if he did hit the open market.

Y'all say Duvernay and Proche but don't sleep on Wallace. Already thought he was going to play a bigger part before the trade, but even more now.

i think he's probably the guy who picks up the slot/z slack - but still think we need another starter be they a slot or an outside guy or both - need to add some more vertical speed (and not stiff speed like duvernay lol)

Roman has created a tainted image of the Ravens. As Simba said earlier, we're kinda becoming soft as an organization letting anyone and everyone go if they ask for a trade. They've all been on offense during this Roman Era.

Usage of Hurst
Usage of Hollywood

Brown does not count as it's just stupid.

We don't look so hot right now as an offense for outsiders

I mean trading someone when they have value is smart. They were not going to get a 1st for Hollywood this time next year but now instead they get their starting C for the next 4-5 years versus a 3rd/4th round comp in 2 years.
