This isn't about not being able to "obey the rules", this is about those rules not being applied consistently.

If person #1 calls you a dick and person #2 calls that person a dick back, should person #2 be the only one banned because the person making that decision happens to like and agree with person #1's personal beliefs?

That is what I experienced.

And I agree, it sucks. Just really nothing you can do about it, except leave the site. There's no law or constitutional right that says message board moderators must enforce rules consistently. If they're not doing it, give it time. The message board will eventually fade as users leave, and it'll just become a quack job site for a small group of yes-men that nobody will care about anymore.

Again I have to ask... if you're a Steelers fan, why are you here? We're not going to spend much time at all talking about "woke mobs" or political items. It happens from time to time, but it lasts a day or two, and usually happens this time of year, when there's nothing football-related to discuss. In about a month, nobody will talk politics for like 6 months straight.

Just seems a little odd to me that you would come here, as a Steelers fan, and the only thing you've discussed so far is how you were booted off your favorite teams message board because they have a mod who's a dick, and about how horrendous it must be to be a Republican in today's climate (even a eyeroll at this notion).

I've yet to see a Steelers fan last more than like a couple months on here without getting banned, because they usually just spend time trolling and not offering anything valuable to discussions.

They banned him for repeatedly using profanity (which is against their forum rules) and for personal attacks on other users. I only bothered to read like 2-3 pages of content, but it was mostly just talking about getting his dick sucked by other users moms.

In terms of Steelers "takes", among the one's that I saw:
1. Tomlin is basically Marvin Lewis. I can actually get on board with Tomlin being slightly overrated, but this is a stretch.
2. Steelers made huge mistakes in letting Bell and Juju go. I'm not sure how anybody arrives at either conclusion. Apparently they're both still high end players
3. Minkah Fitzpatrick is vastly overrated and they should have never paid him. Should have just drafted somebody else instead.
4. Colin Cowherd is apparently a very well respected football analyst, based on the fact that he has a second house on the beach and drives nice cars.

That was what I found in the first 5 minutes.

Is it fair to assume that the mod who initially banned me did so not because I banned any forum rule, but because that individual is "woke" and their agenda was to "cancel" me as a result of their wokeism? To that person, just because I don't support a confused little boy wanting to piss in the same bathroom as a girl doesn't make me a bad person!

Not even going to lie, I CANNOT WAIT for this loud and proud red wave that is a coming!

I'll acknowledge is tenacity. He went through like 5-6 different user names in like a couple day period just so he could post.

It's also pretty funny. He basically tried pulling the online message board version of a January 6th insurrection event. Basically kept trying to recruit other users that the message board was "For the people" and that they didn't have to do anything the mods said.

I just kept thinking Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, except if Bane was like 500 lbs with cheetos in his beard and couldn't walk. That's what I envisioned when I read it.

Anyways the "truth" is somewhere in the middle. Like other users here, he probably pissed off a lot of people with his opinions, but the profanity and personal attacks was all the motivation they needed to ban him. And yes, he had some support from a very small group of people (maybe one to two other users).

Also... the advertising in the corner of their message board is extremely annoying. Glad we don't do it like that here.

Wait a minute. I was banned for "using profanity"? Please .. have you seen the way others talk there. While I might occasionally use a profane word, at no time did I ever use excessive profanity, or beyond what others use on a daily basis. If you say otherwise, I say show your proof.

1.) AND, you can call the comparison between Tomlin and Lewis a stretch, but if you are going to do so, be sure to support your assertion with facts.

2.) You think letting Bell and Ju Ju was a good thing? I think the vast majority of Steeler nation would strongly disagree (and I'm talking the real steeler nation, not the sock puppets that are being manipulated by the woke left on that forum).

3.) Minkah's stats weren't overly impressive last season. That's a fact. I would not have paid what the Steelers did for him. If you consider that "trolling", you may just have a problem with a difference of opinion, dncjacket.

4.) Colin Cowherd is a respected media personality. I never said he's respected "based on the fact that he has a 2nd house on the beach". If you say otherwise, once again, I say show your proof. Just because you don't care for Cowherd doesn't make my opinion a troll comment.

I'm not sure about some of you guys but it seems obvious to me that someone ^ is modeling their attack campaign after a twisted democrat running for office. Go figure ..

I only insulted when it became apparent that several members started a smear campaign against me where they were using fake news to corroborate their claims. I can't help but notice how that didn't seem to bother you, but I do understand that you have a need to appear 'tough' to your longer term members. Thanks for admitting your mistake. It's appreciated. Hopefully whatever lead to your initial decision to ban can be used as a learning tool to prevent similar situations going forward. If my being here played a part in that, I'm happy that I was able to contribute to positive change.

Also, your threats of being willing and able to ban in the future are noted and good to know. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for that.
