The Good, the Bad, and the Dolphins: Week 8 Edition

My hopes definitely aren't up after seeing that performance last night. I'm just going to enjoy the "W" and that "winning feeling" that we all have right now for what it is worth. 44-0. Congrats gents/gals! :cake::drink:

GO RAVENS!

GO RAVENS!

That was a breakout game if I ever saw one..........

For Collins

The titans game coming up is the most important game of the season. They have a very very strong O line and I really worry about our pass rush. Za'Darius, boy he tries and he got his but he really is rubbish at it.
Need Tim Williams back. Judon just doesn't seem to have it, which makes me sad because he really does look the part and does some great things at times.

Carl Lawson is looking like the best pure rusher of this rookie class so far. We didn't even have him in for a meeting :/

Teams are limited to around 32 players they bring in for. I believe if TWill was gone he would have been our pick. I liked Lawson a lot. It was TWill or Lawson for me and believe TWill will be awesome in time. They haven’t played him enough, but when he’s on the field and rushing the passer, he is applying pressure.

you wont get a penatly for pulling players away. Regardless, you dont let players gang up on your teammates.

I don't know if you noticed, but baitimg the DLibe into a 15 yard penalty is part of Jensens game. They aren't going to get involved in what he does (note he did it again later in the game)

It's amazing to me how good he is at getting reactions from players.

Definitely think Lawson has had more opportunity thus far it's way too early to compare.

I also wanted Zach Cunningham in the 2nd round. Would have been a nice fit next to CJ. He reminds me of daryl smith.

They need to let Tim Williams loose.

I don't know why Judon isn't making an impact TBH.

Didn't he slim down quite a bit to play SAM? I think his position on defense just changed a little bit from last season and I think it will take time to adjust.

LMAO..
You know me, I aint a deluded one. You're just a hater. humphrey is really good. He's physical and he's good at it. I've watched and graded every single one of his snaps and he did a great job.
Gonna be honest- there are frequently times I ignore your posts because you just go WAY over the top and then there's the times, like this, where you're level headed and I can read it all, even if it has a differing opinion (in this case, it does not).

But one person who I NEVER read and never reply to is RayRayRavenFan.

Yeah that's the beauty of being a Ravens fan. Getting blown out one week against a shitty team then stomping a really good team the next. I swear that whenever the team plays terribly the next week they follow it up with a great performance and then if they have a really good performance they follow it up with a shitty one. So who else is afraid of the Titans game next week? I sure as hell am. If they win that game, I will have a glimmer of hope again for this team and that is a bad thing for when they disappoint again.

Will be interesting seeing the boards going back current football. After that loss to the Vikings everybody thought the Ravens would be a top 10 draft pick and were only talking draft talk. I wonder how much that changes now.

When Collins runs the ball I think Terrell Davis. He isn't quite as violent a runner as TD. But that's no insult. Cuz not many runners under 220lbs ran so violently. But the fact he doesn't juke tacklers out of their shoes yet somehow makes everybody miss with quick subtle moves is special. I mean maybe one of the best runners in the league kinda good!! And it's not only the subtle moves that makes everybody miss. He strings them together without gearing down!! As a matter of fact he has the rare skill like TD,to accelerate and cut forward while stringing moves together. One of those running backs that is very elusive without looking very elusive. And to no surprise his vision is top shelf quality. And he runs hard and can break tackles.

Collins running style is very similar to TD with shades of Dickerson and Priest Holmes. And he is a weapon as a receiver as well and will get better at that. An amazing football player!! Ravens were very lucky to get him. He wasn't properly evaluated in college because of his fumbling issues. He was overlooked. But if not for his fumbling he could of been a top 40 talent. If he kicks his fumbling problems he could very well lead the NFL over the next 8 games.

If ravens complete the OLine and get a true NO.1 WR he could very well lead the league in running. If ravens kept Osemele and Yanda didn't get hurt he would be a household name by now.

Think he needs to gain back some of his wait. I know he did it for coverage and to be an all around edge player, but damn. Too early to tell though. Give him more time as well. He’s still a damn good 5th rounder even if he doesn’t get any better.

Yep, I should take your advice here.

And I have a really serious question for people- I can't remember which quarter it was or who the receiver was, but I think it was Caroo.

Caroo was working down the sideline and Humphrey and he were running hip to hip and the ball was thrown well short and way out of bounds. People get really upset that he didn't turn his head because he could have had an interception or almost allowed a catch by not turning his head.

Am I the only one who saw that throw and immediately thought it was unplayable by any DB because of how much that placement screamed back-shoulder fade... or just really awful ball placement?

I want to see that play again, but I know the play you are talking about. @Truth, can you look this up on game pass.
