Look at JT absolutely destroying Russell Wilson. Who, to be fair, has been EXTREMELY cringe this whole year.

To be fair Wilson has been extremely cringe his whole career.

The only thing he really handled like a G was the shit with his wife and Future which was surprising lmao

I'll never forgive him for the video of right after he got married to Ciara and they announced to the world that they just had sex. That's engrained in my memory forever and I find him personally responsible.

Gus is criminally underrated. Everyone knows how good he is after contact and many realize that he is a lot faster than he looks.

But I'm most impressed by how he reads the blocking and seems to know the gaps before they have developed. I feel I've only seen that kind of vision in the really elite-level RBs in the league, but I don't see it mentioned anywhere w.r.t. Gus. It is such a huge difference compared to the rest of the RBs we've had the last few years who can do well when the blocking works out as expected, but get stuffed immediately when it doesn't. Edwards just puts his foot in the ground, changes direction and there's the gap. And then runs over a few people before going down.

Just really hoping he will be back after the bye. I don't expect him back for the Saints, but really hoping to see him as our lead back for all games after the bye.

Yeah Gus has great instincts and superb vision .

most of us thought Ben Powers was going to get traded and either Phillips or Cleveland would take over at left guard. Well Ben Powers pass blocking is borderline elite. We need to all give props to Powers. His run blocking needs to improve, but his pass blocking is very good.

the exact opposite of what he was last year lol which was a liability as a pass blocker and a good run blocker

according to PFF last years numbers were pretty decent in pass blocking in the first 8 games, but not as good as this year. He totally fell off the last half of the season. His run blocking was consistently average and his full year numbers were 66.1 in pblk and 63.6 in rblk, which is considered average. In 2020 he was very similar in pblk with a 66.4 grade, while his rblk was awful at 54.3

This year his pblk is 86.4 and rblk is pathetic at 49.0. I can only see his rblk improve.

for what it's worth. Would everyone be calling for GRo's head if we hadn't lost those 3 big leads and were 8-0? I'd say one of those games was truly on the offense, but the Dolphins and Bills game wasn't on the offense. Maybe we could have scored a little more against the Bills, but we were up 20-3 or 20-10 going into the 2nd half.

I think the play calling in the second half the other night was pretty good. What I didn't like and wish they would stop calling is going for it on 4th and short but I put that on Harbaugh. Its a real momentum killer especially against high scoring teams when the defense is playing bad.
