Actually, kind sir, there was definite interest in returning. However, as you may or may not recall in between your senseless diatribes, it was my decision to disband the league for personal reasons. So you know, do basic investigations before making dumbass claims next time
I fucking love the word “diatribes”

not sure why this even needs to be brought up and Sizzle was right, there was interest in continuing with the league and it would have continued if someone wanted to take over as commish.

I am a pretty bummed it fell apart. If we get it started again we should simplify a bit. I think people got enough going in with out having to worry about keepers or which DL they need to start

OK but there's no league. That's the only thing that matters. I'm sure there's thousands of possible reasons why there isn't one, but that's literally the entire basis of why I suggested these things never last.

OK, so why didn't somebody? Again, you guys are validating my entire stance.
Why do these leagues fall apart? Because people have personal lives, don't want to be involved in them anymore, have literally no incentive whatsoever to do so, and people don't want the responsibility of having to run it.

Sounds like precisely what happened. Couldn't even get 10 people to actually commit to do anything for five minutes a week. 2-3 of them stopped participating after the first ten minutes, because they found it too difficult.

And none of that is surprising. What was surprising is that so many of you were like "na, that's not going to be us. We're different". OK, sure.

It was purely because of my decision. If you remember back we had definite interest. So go ahead and believe that you’re right. Not like your ego needs any more inflating, but if it makes your day, believe whatever you’d like

Lol you’re the biggest egotistical prick I’ve ever had the (mis)fortune of meeting on a forum

And yet nothing I said can be disputed. It's just factual word for word across the board.
Truth is hard for a lot of people. But its also important for a lot of people. Whether they want to hear it or not is completely irrelevant to what it is.

I really hate the fact that Ro and PQ almost certainly won’t be a combo we get to see play together long term.

The bills game had me fall off PQ for the first time, but he’s more than redeemed himself for that game, and the bust word comes up every few weeks for him when he blows a play, but fact is that PQ can make explosive plays like few off ball LBs can and he does it frequently. Ro and Hamilton bring so much range and instinct and “right place right time” to our center field that I’m getting legit excited at the prospect of facing a KC or Buffalo in a big game, I think we finally have third down difference makers. Do we think Andy Reid’s shovel passes and screens under 3 layers of disguise are gonna work on a guy like roquan smith on 3rd and 1? That shit works when Josh bynes is the mike and PQ is left to attack the first key he reads

Pity that we don’t have the offense to capitalize on the truly good teams

That’s yet to be determined. There’s a lot of football left to be played, lots of room to gel, adjust, fine tune different game plans, etc.

The way our OL has been playing, I’m not convinced our offense won’t be able to find and maintain their stride on the ground. If andrews and dobbins are healthy come December, look out.

I’d argue that a healthy Gus is better than Dobbins

I was thinking exactly this too. I think it's very unlikely. However who the fuck knows right? If we sign Lamar and Roquan this year, and if Queen continues to play absolutely stellar this year, it might not be crazy to pick up his 5th year option. Obviously I'm not Sachi and Eric who would know how to do it or what corresponding moves to make, but you can do anything you want there are just going to be consequences.

I think it's cool we're going to get to see a bunch of RS and PQ together. If they create this super team where the whole is really greater than the sum of its parts situation, an explicitly makes the defense elite, you'd really have to consider keeping them together

It all hinges on Lamar's contract saituation but I really want to keep Roquan. I've been wanting a mike and a center and now both can be covered for a long time. With Queen we defintely got him next year and we have to see about 5th yr option

Pity that we don’t have the offense to capitalize on the truly good teams

We've won 2 SB's with great defense and average offense. I like our guys.

is there even a reason this is being brought up in November. I've been in multiple leagues that have lasted for years, some about 15 years and some dynasty leagues for over 7 years. This one is over and done with and yes you said it would end. Great, you are right..so what.

Anyone lose money over the FTX fallout? Not a great sign for the future of crypto. Honestly it’s Brady’s fault

i think the screens will still work.havent seen us consistently stop a screen since suggs. Suggs iq was just on a different level. Odefe seems like he just gets sucked it everytime.
