I’m just not all for calling this one of the best teams in our history when we are very flawed. Most here are overconfident with our recent wins when we’ve played and will be playing scrub teams. I knew this would happen

Well 2 things

The first is that I think it should be acknowledged just how hurt this team has been

Secondly, I can understand the optimism considering how they have managed to win considering all those injuries. I think it's fare to say that an offense that currently ranks 5th in scoring would be much improved with a healthy Bateman/JK/Gus

Now the defense managed to shut down the Bengals and did a hell of a job against the Bills can only improve by adding Marcus William (was there for the Bengals and Bills games), Roquan Smith, Bowser, and Ojabo.

I have been arguing that depth has been the biggest issue because trotting JPP and Houston out there for a boat load of snaps can lead to inconsistent pass rush.

No question we have a stacked team in terms of talent and depth, especially on defense if everyone comes back healthy. We still lost a couple of defensive players (good ones) to season ending injuries. We've lost one offensive and positionally the best player in Bateman for the season. Yet, short of big name receivers ( I mean ones that aren't grandparents), we are lacking in that one aspect in terms of experience. We have great TE and O-line depth without question. Once Edwards and Dobbins are back to full strength, we will have the best and deepest rotation of RBs, best because of Lamar of course. Then, we have the biggest X-factor in all of sports, Lamar 'MJ' Jackson as our QB1.

Yes, we are deeply stacked and talented, but to have all 3, the O, D and ST to play in unison and together takes a little time. My hope is all three come together towards the end of December, when we will more than likely have a fully healthy Dobbins, Marcus Williams back with Ojabo, Bowser and Oweh finding their form. That'll be a devastating Trifecta for any team to handle. If all this pontification actually self-actualizes, then we shall be hoisting the Lombardi and celebrating like maniacal bastards.

That’s fine. I’ll enjoy it while it’s here, and when we fall short I’ll be sad for a bit and then move on and all is fine, as is always the case.

Yes, one and done as is the annual tradition now is just fine. We will never win a Super Bowl with Greg Roman at OC

I mean....they did beat the Titans in year 2 of Lamar being the full time started (not counting his rookie season)

Because of a busted coverage in Lamar's long TD run. Otherwise, it would have been yet another Harbaugh playoff loss classic

I understand what you are saying. I also get your beef with John and Roman. I would like a change at OC as well but some of it does fall on the players.

Lamar Jackson threw an INT that was returned for a TD against the Bills. At that point the score was 3-10 and we were in position to tie the game.

IMO we should have beat that Bills team and go on to the AFC championship game.

Was in the context of people calling other people out for being "wrong" on variety of topics. Felt like if we're going to play that game, we should play it to the bone.
