Because we put a focus on guys that create separation and actually catch the ball. A lot of the time those big WRs in the latter half of the first got by with bullying college corners while getting no separation. Guys like N'Keal Harry.

Besides we got Andrews and now Likely that are essentially gigantic slot WRs.

Definitely. But it wasn't good if you know what I mean lol. Kirk is horrible all the time, this game was no different. JJ18 is that entire offense. Then Josh Allen did his best LJ impression on the ground and through terrible after terrible pass all game. Bailed out over and over by the vikings having bricks for hands and Diggs being elite.

That game was just sloppy and ugly as fuck the whole time mixed with crazy plays of pure magic and mytique.
