Food for thought: the ravens winning out and a chiefs lost to Seattle would give us the 2 seed over them
If we can just win one more division game we win any tie breaker over them.So is there any chance we can clinch the AFC North before Week 18?
Negative , we will be a WC. Bengals are definitely taking the divisionSo is there any chance we can clinch the AFC North before Week 18?
Think 2-2 is the default most logical scenario. Then its just question of seeding. 5 seed would be ideal with a likely TEN matchup. I think Dolphins end up 11-6, so going to be hard to get the 5 seed unless we win 3/4.Everyone needs to be mentally prepared to go 1-3 down the stretch and enter the playoffs as the 6th seed. The Ravens will tease us and nearly win a couple of those games, but ultimately break your heart. Lamar comes back in time for the playoffs and then its a crap shoot.....
how is that even possible. btw, Marcus Williams injury was a dislocated wrist. So Marcus Williams breaks his wrist and is out 9 weeks. Try Hendrickson breaks his wrist and they are confident he'll only be out a few weeks, definitely by playoffs they said. What?
Thanks! Yeah very confusing statement from themhow is that even possible. btw, Marcus Williams injury was a dislocated wrist.
Two completely different injuries. So Marcus Williams breaks his wrist and is out 9 weeks. Try Hendrickson breaks his wrist and they are confident he'll only be out a few weeks, definitely by playoffs they said. What?
I think Cleveland may he the easiest game left for us. Watson isn't back and teams like the Bengals are showing they can limit Chubb. I think because the indication is that Huntley can go that we can beat the Browns. It's no certainty though.Think 2-2 is the default most logical scenario. 11-6 as the 6 seed I think is most likely outcome.

Steelers could very well be a split. As you said, Lamar is back for that 2nd game with the Steelers, but we also aren't going to get 3 interceptions off of Trubisky. I do think we could beat them though and I think our floor is 11-6.I would argue 3-1 is the most logical scenario. Cleveland looks terrible and the Falcons look no better and then Lamar is back for a home game against the team that just lost to the undrafted 3rd string QB. By that point is division is likely locked up and rest happens week 17 and even if not that would be a tough game.
I'd put in Cowboys over Ravens. I think the Cowboys would beat us on a neutral field. If I had to do an NFL top 6 teams I'd say in no order:
Bills, Chiefs, Ravens, Bengals, Eagles, 49ers.
I think that's fair. IMHO though, the cowboys are an incredibly overrated team.I'd put in Cowboys over Ravens. I think the Cowboys would beat us on a neutral field.
Well, I don't put much stock in a lot of prior games. We barely beat Cleveland last time, and they had a worse QB and we'll for sure have a worse QB on Sunday. Pittsburgh also played almost all of their game with a backup, and still barely lost.I would argue 3-1 is the most logical scenario. I think they're clearly top 3 in the NFC. And I think they match up well with pretty much anybody.I think that's fair. IMHO though, the cowboys are an incredibly overrated team.
For sure but they are just missing that ability to be great if that makes sense. Like I'm pretty sure we're gonna see them choke first round of the playoffs again. At best second round depending on matchup.I think they're clearly top 3 in the NFC. And I think they match up well with pretty much anybody.
I mean Pickett is just as interception prone but with less elusiveness less accuracy and less of a deep ball threat so when Pickett is starting for them in that next game I would be generally happier considering Steelers are worse at QB and the Ravens will be better.Steelers could very well be a split. Fun fact about this "better" QB, the Browns look far worse on offense with him behind center. What you saw with the Browns is that Watson is not going to look very good this year. Maybe in a couple weeks near the end of the year he will look good, but he is not a good player right now. Watson is just a name right now but not a good player.Well, I don't put much stock in a lot of prior games. Same idea that Cleveland can blow out Cincy two months ago and then largely get blown out yesterday. What you see in a first matchup is highly unlikely to be the same thing you see in a second one.
I like how we match up with Atlanta, however, which is where I think our best chance for at least one more win is.
