I do think we tried, we’re just not very good at drafting. We did give him 2 1st round WR, 1st round center, 1st round TE, arguably the 2nd best TE in the league, 2nd round back….. we’ve given him a decent amount. Injuries, poor drafting , and honestly Lamar just playing average are they reason his contract were wasted. 2019 was pure magic by Lamar, take the year away and he’s just not that special.

Idk dude. I think it's kinda simple. We employed a GM who has demonstrated over multiple years that it is ok to take an entire position group and just ignore it. Every time he did that, it was the reason our team couldn't break through.
Injuries fucked us for sure.
GRos scheme has limited the ceiling of the team.
The defense has just never been the elite group it used to be and this year in particular have been pussies.
Drafting was simply not good enough. It was up and down and lacked true upper echelon picks.
Money has been invested greatly in positions of low considered importance.

What really drives me crazy is the injuries. Even today there we’re two runs that dobbins houses pre injury . Now he has this fucking “o shit i gotta poop” run going on.
No we’re right back to drawing board needing to successfully draft WR/RB

I randomly watched the entire Broncos Ravens Divisional round game. Joe got alot of praise for playing like Montana, but I completely forgot the Broncos dropped two Ints, and a third was caught out of bounds in overtime. Also that Holliday returned the opening kick off of the 2nd half, I only remembered the punt return. Alot of weird stuff went down during the game
and the actual shot to jacoby should have been picked too

I don't think we allowed a special teams TD all year, then 2 in that game.
Gotta get breaks to win the tournament. I think back on all of the crazy, dumb shit that happened to opponents of the patsies and have to think there was some voodoo priest in Boston jabbing dolls. LOL!

There's the build obviously, the stubby little fingers, no discernible eyes, the ridiculous facial hair, the belief that he's smarter than he is and tendency to outsmart himself leading to trouble.
Oh, and they're both carried by someone much more talented than himself.
The Laurel and Hardy theme would have been a perfect soundtrack to today's offense too.

The one that boils my blood the most is the delay of games. You know it’s coming. You know plays fail because we’re in a rush. Rushed 4th down play that ends up as an L because we couldn’t FUCKIN FIGURE IT OUT
Every thing else that happens yes might not be ideal, play calling execution ect
But the fact that we can’t beat a fucking 45 second time as a team of professional players who get payed millions, is beyond my comprehension. They have 1 million hours of practice but still. Play clock. It’s maddening

And to your point.. if the plays are simplified for Huntley (supposedly) then why is it still taking this long to get the call off? Make it make sense!

What is the appropriate dollar threshold not to attend a wedding you don’t even want to go to? Wife wants to go to a college friends wedding in New York, total cost for us to attend is $1700…. I like these people but I also don’t like them that much. I’m getting death stares from the wife for having not booked the flights ……
