So now the question becomes who gets the 5th seed between us and the Chargers and faces the Jags next weekend.

Getting blown out 31-6 at home, you are about to part ways with your long time quarterback of nearly a decade, likely lose the receiver you acquired in the process who came to your team because of said QB. The Raiders are a mess.
These franchises show no loyalty to "key" players at times. Carr was out there "crying" over the Raiders losing games and now they are showing him the door. This is why I am all for these players getting as much paper (money) as they can cause the NFL can be a cutthroat business.

So the Titans fired their GM who brought in Vrabel, this losing streak by Tennessee here could be the end of Vrabel too? Complete house cleaning incoming perhaps?

I think this is Vrabel's first losing season with them, and it came with half the team on IR. They're idiots if they fire him for this season. He just went 12-5 last year and 11-5 the year before.

I like that Lawrence will gladly throw those 5 to 6 yard passes and keep the chains moving. He doesn't force it if the deep options are covered.

been really impressed with him the 2nd half of the season
wasn't sold on him at all in year 1, and still wasn't really sure whether he was actually improving or whether the team around him was just better early in the year - but he's definitely taken a step (albeit in a weak division but you've got to start somewhere)

Urban Meyer. Lawrence is showing why he was a #1 overall pick

Never should have been given that HC job in the
it wasnt just meyer
that's obviously a factor - but lawrence was very not good last year - not quite zach wilson bad but not far off it
He's said he had to reflect on his play and improve, but we all know how terrible Meyer was especially for a young team.

Never liked that scumbag.

Come to think of it, the Titans seem to be built similar to us. Smash mouth running the football and playing good defense. I was watching a clip on the late 90s Knicks vs. Heat rivalry in the playoffs and they discussed how they were like mirror images of each other.

Was thinking that too watching them play yesterday. They have some bigs guys up front that cause problems. Stop the run and generate crazy pressure. We're not supposed to like them but damn they play with a ferociousness we seem to lack. Vrabel is a hell of a coach as well even if he comes off as an asshole to many fans.

Texans score first against the Colts and take the early lead. Remember, a win by Houston and a loss by the Bears gives Chicago the first overall pick.
