Me personally... I don't think the Ravens medical staff gives a shit what your contract situation is in terms of recommending or clearing you to play. Wildly outside the scope of their job.

If he had a fully guaranteed contract, Ravens wouldn't give a shit. They'd still want him out there. It's fully guaranteed. Its a sunk cost. There's no decision the Ravens can make that would change it.
Worst case scenario for them is he worsens the injury, and then he gets 8-9 months to recover before he even has to play meaningful games again.

I agree. Even this year, Lamar is a government mule. Play him at all costs. He can't refuse. He has bet on himself and is losing. He had best be steeled to play, because when the non exclusive was slapped on him, it was a message to prove his worth... As he has either been unable or unwilling to do that the past two seasons.

I hope we escape this message by trading him.

All that’s happened the past 2 1/2 years I wonder what his trade value truly is.

Yes. You're significantly richer than you would have been in pretty much any other scenario.

Not really revolutionary, but I'm pretty sure 100% of NFL players don't get exactly what they want on a long term deal. I'm sure many of them think they're worth a billion dollars annually.

I still believe it's high. If that contract with 175 mil stone cold guaranteed that shows his worth. Not much can top that and if a team wants not to have a bidding war they would want a trade and it's not going to happen until the draft probably after. He also did not play on his injuries and right now he could be 100% healthy but you know a lot of fake news too.

Not even two 1st round picks now. I'd say one 1st rounder and 1-2 players depending on their talent.

teams know what we offered and are fucking stunned he didn't take it.

Lamar has gone from a happy ,optimistic ,team oriented player to what we have now .

I honestly don't want the current Lamar on my team. I want the old Lamar but I think he is gone.

Based on comments during yesterday's conference , I don't think the Ravens want to keep him either

Im saying anyone can get deal done just to say they did.. its not like lamar cant just get any deal, he just feels like he worth a billion dollars like you said
