You took the words out of my mouth. These two signings have been excellent for us. The pressure they are creating is so underrated right now.Kyle Van Noy was all over the place today. He and Clowney are saving our asses.
Look I didnt want the Chiefs to win either but you cant just rewrite history pal!I am feeling a lot better today than last week, but today reminded me that any given Sunday a bad team can beat a good team. PJ Walker beat the 49ers and Zach Wilson beat the Super Bowl Champs.
what metric are you going by this o line is not top 5 at all?lso by every gradable metric the OLine is top 5. This is another one of those where if you look around the league you realize there is not a ton of great OLine play happening right now. Right
Separation by yardage is going to be low when so many targets are under 10 yards from the LoS. I think those stats are partly on the playcaller too.what metric are you going by this o line is not top 5 at all?
also the wrs apart from zay arent good
His decision making too. On redzone I've been watching mobile QBs taking too long to decide to run, running at the wrong times all day and it just made me appreciate how well and quickly Lamar reads thingsLamar’s patience when running the ball is underrated. He almost looks like he’s walking at times waiting for a hole or the defender to make a move. It’s funny to watch the defenders try to mirror him and then Lamar just slips by effortlessly
That was 3 gms ago. What have they done since?raven put 28 on that browns D if they can get clicking they can be elite
going to get wake up call against the lionsWhat have they done since
For the complaints I have about the passing game philosophy as a whole, the scheme at least seems to benefit Lamar greatly. The read option clearly still has its place, but its lowered usage has seemingly let Lamar process things a lot more and make better decisions. His decision making too. I don’t think anyone is suggesting we give up on the short and intermediate passing game. That has been working pretty well. The discussion was around the deep passing game and why we haven’t done more of it. My point is simply that after Zay there is a pretty steep drop off in production from the other wr’s. And personally I don’t care whether we win by throwing bombs or whether we throw 5 yard out routes, and run the ball. As long as we win. I do think though that this offense will evolve into something much better then what we’ve seen so far. That feels like an arbitrary prerequisite. Justin Fields leads in the NFL in completions and TDs above 20 yards, 13 with 6 TDs to no INTs, and they don't have a weekly productive WR outside of D.J. Moore. It's arguably the one aspect Chicago has excelled in. Cutting the legs off of the deep passing game and averting looks because of our doubts about our players will turn it into a self-fulfilling prophecy. I'd prefer to at least give them the looks to see how effective they can be, then decide off of what they do or don't do.
Sure, the Ravens won the game and are 4-2 and presently atop of the AFC North but after 6 weeks of gameplay, their offense is still ass to me. With the exception of the TD to Zay, they can't seem to score TDs when they hit the red zone (an issue that has plagued them for a few seasons now) but had to keep settling for the FGs. Pathetic! Now, here comes the red-hot 5-1 Lions to Baltimore on Sunday. Oh well, no pre-game hype up from me-just go play ball Ravens!
up through the cleveland game they were one of the top teams scoring tds in the red zone. I know that, You are right but being first weeks ago and sucking the past 2 weeks is a big drop in my book.We are ranked 3rd in RZ scoring %, pretty sure we were first a couple of weeks ago but the last 2 weeks we have sucked.
I know all of that. You are right and I get it! But I'm talking about now! This is a what have you done for me lately league. Yes we've had those issues in past seasons no doubt.
Agreed, I dont think it's a coincidence that it coincides with Stanley's return. The OL has not looked good since he's been backI know that, You are right but being first weeks ago and sucking the past 2 weeks is a big drop in my book.
Yeah, I see what you are saying.Agreed, I dont think it's a coincidence that it coincides with Stanley's return. The OL has not looked good since he's been back

All of this , Lamar looks more comfortable than ever. For the complaints I have about the passing game philosophy as a whole, the scheme at least seems to benefit Lamar greatly. and he's throwing at a 70% completion percentage......even with those drops last week that could have been big yardageAll of this , Lamar looks more comfortable than ever.
