The Defence, the Offence, and the Tucker

I am so glad we were able to snatch Diontae Johnson right at the deadline. Phew, that was a great move.

Bate got injured and Johnson did not get a single snap. Hate to be the one saying this but I fucking told you so. What did they expect?? Doghouse does not work there, just cut him.
 
I feel like I say this every fucking week, win or lose, but Harbaugh is not a good head coach and rode Ray’s and Flacco’s coattails to the Super Bowl and is now doing the same thing with Lamar.
 
Id have to say from a coaching perspective our season looks like this

HC: Bad nearly the entire time. His heights have been not fucking anything up. And tbh that's enough. He just needs to not hurt us.

OC: Pretty much the same guy as last year. If you don't look too closely, it doesn’t seem too bad, but upon closer inspection it's kinda ugly. It's not am exaggeration to say 75% of our big plays are Lamar backyard ball instead of designed. Additionally, Monken’s tendencies are so obvious. He continues to get cute and kill our drives. If we get behind the sticks at all he's got no way out. His use of Henry continues to be suspect. And his 2 point conversion playcalling is among the very worst I've seen. I think Lamar is the heavy lifter on offense. I know others will disagree but I don't think Monken really has any "stuff".

DC: This is the crazy one. Everyone rightfully is skeptical in the beginning. He completely blows it early into mid season. He grows Herculean balls and makes "superstar" Marcus Williams a healthy scratch, cuts Eddie Jackson, promotes Ardarius, changes Hamilton's role, schematically moves us into using more man, and brings in Pees for extra help. The last 3 weeks, the defense is truly transformed from what it was early on. We all called for the firing of the Orr that was running Gen 1 of this defense. And you know what? Orr himself fired that guy and tried something new. It may have also not worked, but it did. Makes me think he's really got "stuff". That's no weak man and a guy determined to be great.

STs C: This guy has been awful years and the 2024 squad has to be among the worst in franchise history. He can't get one component right. I legitimately hate that he is employed by us.

I fucking knew it, because you literally only needed to not be an idiot to know that Diontae Johnson would be a whiny bitch and his on field play would only be negative. I wrote as much the moment we signed him. And viola he shows up exactly as expected. And the hilarious part is right in the insurance situation where we need him (Bates injury) he holds out.

I'm done hyping up this Ravens team. Done! After that foolishness the Ravens put on the field, in Baltimore; I got nothing!

The roster's still pretty strong. Not Philly strong but you could see the talent gap in our favour against the LA Mini-Ravens lst week.

I thought, before the season, that this year was too soon for a genuine SB run, we lost too many bodies after 23 to replace them all in one draft. Provided we can re-sign Ronnie, we're not going to lose anyone important in the summer. One more draft with a few Guards and Safeties and we'll be in good position for 25.

As long as we overhaul Special Teams, from coaches to specialists.

The vibes are indeed off. I think vibes on Defense being bad make sense. There shouldn't be bad vibes on offense, DJ is just being a little bitch. But I think there has gotta be a building feeling of doom surrounding the absolute dumpster tier STs. I would bet certain people are questioning whether the 2024 Ravens even have the capacity to "click" on all three phases. We've rarely been able to click on 2.

If he actually held himself out, then he can spend the season in the stands before we ship his bitch ass off to the Jets or Giants

I will continue to say fuck Diontae Johnson until he can show literally anything at all. But all I've seen is a bitch holding himself out and when he's been on the field he's been atrocious.

I've been neutral on him after the "effort" I've seen from him since we traded for him but if he is actually refusing to play for us then he needs to be traded to somewhere to die this offseason. We can't just release him and let his bumass go to the Bills or chiefs

What else could it be? We was active and healthy. And Rashod got hurt. Plus he's played in every game since he's been here.
