The Defence, the Offence, and the Tucker

Ask your contact about Tucker. He is a major problem on this team. Probably the biggest thing holding us back at this point. I don't know a single player on this team right now who is holding us back more. Even Stephens, who isn't bad, is playing OK & is 1 guy. Tucker literally is losing us points.
Man its nothing wrong with tucker.. he just missing thats all.. he hitting everything pregame off the T but not doing it in games.. our place holder either fking up or he just in a slump

Despite what some think, our O line is far from being terrible. And trying to second guess player selection is kinda silly when we don't know all that is going on with the squad. Probably best to trust the people that get paid to do those things and see the players every day. lol

Our O-line is not good.

Are they the worst? No.

He told me a few weeks back that there were some personal, off-field things that could be impacting him. He gave me a brief idea of what he thinks it might be, but he wasn't sure and I don't feel comfortable putting that out into the ether.
Only thing that can knock a man off his game is a woman lol..

Probably not but ive seen tucker make every fg in pregame warms ups using the T.. maybe he just in a slump? Even last season he was missing a few fgs..
He's just off mechanically right now. Now that I've actually taken a bit of dive into the kicks on film, it feels fairly obvious. Now whatever the cause for the mechanical failures and the inability to get them corrected is a whole different discussion. But the mechanical problems are on him, no one else.

Yeah, no, disagree. Are they top 5? No. lol But IMO calling them "not good" couldn't be more wrong.
Definitely in the top half of the league and improving every week.

I think our OL is decent. I think Lamar makes them look better. I would say Tyler is elite top category. Ronnie is good & so is Rosengarten. The guards are average.

That would put our OL top-10-ish. Borderline top-10. If I had to guestimate, I would say it is 8-13.

Yes, better than most.
Can't be stressed enough that losing Coach Joe D set them back a ton.

They are borderline top 10 unit. They've gone up against some of the best fronts in the game last 3 weeks and have hung in there for the most part.

I am not a fan of the unit and more so have an issue with how many times this game we set up all those deep drops. This unit struggles against the better lines to the point they get handled. It's part of the game, you're not going to dominate every game.

My point in general is this...

You're not going to score a ton of points every game so if our Special Teams is going to pin us back consistently and your kicker misses field goals then we are fucked.

You're not going to score 30 a game.

Lamar doesnt even move up in the pocket as much.. look like tyler huntley a little bit

The offensive line isn't terrible, but isn't great. Lamar's ability to move certainly helps.

Stanley and Linderbaum are both having good years. Rosengarten started rough but has improved week after week. Mekari and Faalele are both middle of the pack or slightly below average, and that's where they attacked. That's a very good Eagles front.

Just think how good Lindy would be with Yanda next to him.

Haven't given up on Vorhees yet, but it seems he can't stay healthy.

ST have been terrible, we lose the battle there every single week.

Nearly every single phase, too.

We've beaten the FG issues to depth. Kick return is still largely a useless play. Punt return decisions (or lack thereof) have put us in bad field position. Coverage units have been leaky all year. Stout is probably the most consistent piece we've had and even he's had rough games.

If you think Faalele is bad, he is. And that's with flagrant holding nearly constantly.
