Next Up: vs Steelers

After what their defense did against the Bucs, I sincerely doubt it now.
Baker is legit, quietly having a topQb 5 year. Chargers are definitely frauds unless Herbert magically gets healthy

I'm shocked the NFL made our game Saturday considering there is direct competition with CFP playoff games.

It's crazy how much my perception has flipped on Baker since being on the Bucs. Went from a fringe QB like Daniel Jones to him being a fringe top 10 QB. Crazy how the Browns and Panthers struggled to get anything out of him. (I'll give a pass for the Rams since he was a backup)

Kind of ironic that the Watson debacle was the best thing that could have happened to Baker.

Ravens can clinch a playoff spot with:
a win or tie vs the Steelers
OR a Miami loss or tie AND a Indy loss or tie

If we lose Pittsburgh clinches the north
Do we still have a chance at the north?

I think Baker always had the skill, but lacked maturity. Props to him for growing up

If the Ravens win out and the Steelers beat Bengals and Chiefs they will end up with the same record.

Unfortunately, when looking at tiebreakers (I can be wrong), this is how it would break down:

1. Head to head: If Ravens win then they would be 1-1 against each other.
2. Division Record: If Ravens win out they will be 4-2 in the division, if Steelers beat Bengals and Chiefs they would be 4-2 in the division.
3. Common Games: Chiefs, Giants, Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders, Washington Commanders, Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles Ravens are 5-3 in those games, Steelers are currently 5-2 with the Chiefs game on the horizon.

So in this scenario, the Steelers would still win the division. Likely will need some help from either the Bengals or the Chiefs.

that 2018 class was legit.

Lamar
Allen
Mayfield
Darnold
In an alternate (horrible) universe Lamar went #1 to the Browns, Allen to the Jets at #3, Mayfield to the Bills at #7, Darnold to the Cards at #14 and our Baltimore Ravens trade up to the 32nd pick to select Joe Flacco’s replacement.… Mr JOSH ROSEN!

Yep. Beat the Steelers. They have KC and Bengals after that, not the easiest schedule. And they seem banged up.

Thank you!

So a) I'm shocked the CFB playoff scheduled games during an NFL window, and I think its comical that the first two playoff games are being shown on TNT, and not on any major network. I think that's a good indication of who dominates the market.
And b) they're doing Saturday games because of the Christmas games. NFL wanted to dominate Christmas with two games, and they could never justify Sunday/Wednesday games. So they did Saturday/Thursday. Also why the same four teams are involved in both.

NFC is where all the AFc Qb rejects who can't hack it against the elites get a 2nd chance. Let's ease up a bit on Baker, if he were still in the NFC North he'd still be in competition for worst Qb in the division. He's 8-6 in a division where he's basically the only established starting Qb standing.

Top 10 I'll give you but Top 5 is definitely pushing it.
Top 5 for sure this season, 3rd in completion percentage at 70.8, 4th in passing yards, 3rd in touchdowns, 6th in QB Rating. Losing Chris Godwin for the year and Mike Evans for 3 games and he still made it work with Cade Otton of all people. They haven't won more because their defense is ranked 27th.

I don't think Baker is a top-five quarterback by any means, but he is definitely a top-five quarterback statistically this year. Moving into next season, I can see the argument of him being a top 10-12 QB in the league.

I want the Chargers to lose and be the 7 seed because they have a better chance of beating buffalo and kc than the broncos do imo
I like Denver's chances a lot better than the Chargers honestly. They were a blocked field goal away from losing to them already.
