Offense is scoring 17.5 points per game and defense is allowing 17. That's not a margin I'd like to call great or acceptable.

I would imagine the Ravens are near bottom of the league in points per drive.

I made that post when I didn't factor in ST and D scores. I am not trying to alter the dictionary.
So, the Ravens are 23rd in points per drive, but 28th in drives that result in a score. They have the BEST average starting position in the league offensively. 26th in touchdowns per drive. They are 28th in three and outs per drive. The WORST touchdown to field goal ratio in the league.
This offense might truly be the worst in the league.

It's really depressing watching Eagles score a TD literally almost every time they sniff the red zone, while we can't make it to the red zone starting drives from close to midfield.
The Eagles are tops in the league in drives per touchdown. Wentz has just been absolutely magical this season. I can't believe how good he's been, especially under pressure. I still can't believe the Browns traded out of that pick.
The Ravens would look night and day different if they had Wentz.

This... is incredibly fair. I just loved hearing the reports that they didn't believe Wentz would be a franchise quarterback.
Like, what are their scouts doing all day?

Tbh given that it's the Browns I would not be surprised if they took Baker Mayfield ahead of Josh Rosen......
You'd think they'd have learned from Johnny Manziel, to be fair.
I think the saddest thing for me is that after two games, the offense actually looked like it was finding a rhythm and getting on track.

This is equally true. Hated Manziel the football player.
the best way to describe the key differences between johnny and baker is i think quite telling and i really hate the comparison of those two:
when manziel scrambled it was to run playing street football while baker scrambles to throw
manziel's antics always seemed tied up in this idea of celebrity where mayfield seems to just be a hot head
and while those differences seem small i think they say a huge amount about the differences in compatibility for them in the nfl respectively - that said im not sold on mayfield as a 2nd round grade yet - much like mason rudolph im gonna have to wait for the senior bowl i think
Second round? Mayfield is going top 16
and until i go into the tape properly i wont be able to see whether i agree with that - he may well go top 16 but whether he grades out as a top 16 player is what im looking for - inevitably there will be a couple of qbs who get reached on
Mayfield is a strong leader. There is no comparison to these two players.
