I think they experimented with this last season with the split-screen ad breaks IIRC. For me, it's when they place the commercials that'll do it for me. I'd be "fine" with it if they did it when all of the games are approaching or at half-time. Possibly again when the late games start and when they go into half-time.

Other from that, yeah this shit is ridiculous. Nice to see there's been a lot of backlash though I don't think it'll make that much of a difference as much as I would love to be proven wrong.

they could definitely get away with split screen ads
but they're doing full commercial breaks

talking about making sure you don't miss anything important... big plays can happen at literally any time and there'll be 8 games going on simultaneously lol

what it actually means is that they're gonna come back from break and catch you up on stuff that happened 5 minutes ago so that it runs even further behind (redzone was always typically about a minute or so behind the live coverage)
