Haha yes I was taking the piss. But I did say to my son we would live to regret have an untrusted kicker in the playoffs at the start of the year. I am convinced we needed to lose this year to progress so it needed to happen

If we had a real DC that just didn't egregiously collapse and had a middle of the road defense despite the higher end roster, we dont lose that Bills game. We don't lose the pats game and others. We absolutely make the play offs, and we don't emotionally and mentally derail our whole season.

This team had many many many shortcomings, but it was over after week 1 because of Orr.

Meh. I dunno I think Lamar would have been murdered by any of the 2-3 elite defenses taking over these playoffs. We were 8-9 for a reason and the reason was below average play on both sides of the LoS.

Yeah we had no shot in the playoffs. We talk about “oh a year with no chiefs and the bengals are a total non factor” whole time the ravens are right there with them.

I think it depends on what you see as an end goal. Do I think this team could have made it to the Super Bowl representing the AFC? I absolutely do. Nobody in the AFC scares me except the Ravens. When you couple that with the fact that we never put it together simultaneously on both sides of the ball, yes we could’ve dominated this weak conference in the playoffs

But if you’re asking me if we could beat what is likely the Seahawks in the Super Bowl? No, I have extreme doubts about that.

We defended well against really bad offenses which got a lot of hopes up around here lol

This offense stood zero chance against Denver and Houston’s defense

This defense stood no chance against Denver and NEs offense

No matter who we played, we were gonna get absolutely torched on one side of the ball.

Gimme the 14th draft pick and Harbaugh firing all day. I got high hopes for the next 2-3 years

Orr sealed his fate when he let Rodgers and gainwell just dump off for 4 quarters and cook tf out of us. Inexcusable, entirely scheme based, if you are playing an offense who’s gameplan is “DK on clear out routes and dump off to the RB” and you’re facing them without DK and you let them dump off anyway, you need to be fired immediately and kept miles away from an nfl playbook. Totally incompetent and in over his head.

50/50 on this. I certainly agree that the offense likely stood no chance and same with defense but on their best days or even above average days they certainly could’ve beaten them both on either side of the ball.

The 2025 Ravens were never consistent and never had a complete game. If they ever did then they would’ve waxed both teams

We nearly beat the Patriots in BAL this year. Considering how badly we played at home that’s pretty good.

We beat the Bears and Packers as well, both playoff teams. With proper execution we could have beaten anyone that made it in to the tournament.

beat up on bad offences
his job wasnt really saved by crazy defensive improvements - it was saved by an awful schedule of offences and by kyle hamilton moving into the box
 
I know it's early to think about the schedule but can we assume our week 1 game next year is going to be Sunday Night Football in Pittsburgh?

2024 - Lost to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game, played them Week 1.

2025 - Lost to the Bills in the Divisional Round, played them Week 1.

2026 - Lost to the Steelers in Week 18, Week 1 opponent?

Also The Rams are scheduled to play in Australia in Week 1, what happens if they win The Super Bowl?

Only team i wouldve been concerned about was HOU. Yea stroud suck but their defense wouldve done us wrong in every possible way. We for sure cant beat hawks though but broncos with nix and hou, wouldve been really really tough

Love how everyone is running with the idea of us trading Lamar to the Raiders just because Florio(a known Ravens hater) suggested it lol. It's like, did you not pay attention to Steve Biscotti's press conference? Lamar isn't going anywhere.
