Around the NFL: News and Rumors

Seahawks are imploding. S Earl Thomas questioned Bobby Wagner playing in yesterdays game with a hamstring injury. Wagner responded on Twitter.

"E, Keep my name out yo mouth. Stop being jealous of other people success. I still hope you keep balling bro"
LOL I beat you to it. See pg. 76.

is it? it takes away one of the most overpowered momentum changing plays in the game as a possibility
True. I just feel that if a player thinks he can score, he should try to. Maybe it would depend on the situation.

I don't know, it just seemed stupid when I first read it. But BB knows more about football than I do, so...

i dont think he's saying they shouldnt reach out at all but more the reckless dive/fighting too hard for extra yards with a reach/overextending your body

i think essentially its a ploy to make sure his players take responsibility for the football - if the odds are against them making it he's gonna bench them if they take that chance even if it works out

Oh, yeah that makes sense.

Not really. It is the patriots. Either they are already wide open in the end zone or they stroll on in untouched.

God I hate that team.
I do too but I honestly hate the Steelers more. I respect BB way more than anyone in the Steelers organization.

um i know no one really is on the fence about this but if anyone had any doubts then just read this infographic for convincing evidence that jimmy g is a franchise qb who can and will play at a high level:

i mean holy crap look at how good he is under pressure vs clean pocket - that tells me his pre-snap and post-snap reads are exceptional - and the way he runs the 2 minute drill is so efficient

^^Since he plays for an NFC team, I can actually root for him. Dude's a boss. Niners gonna contend in a few years if they can draft right.

And...
after their loss vs the panthers the packers place aaron rodgers on i/r - sensible move, makes absolutely no sense to keep him in this season especially after they nearly werent ok with playing him on sunday...
