The WR Thread

Won't amount to a hill of beans in the NFL is what makes'em losers!! Bowser may eventually make a pretty good 4-3 linebacker. But he has a trait you will eventually begin to see that makes him a useless loser as an edge rusher. When he gets more play time it will become more evident. I know u really want him to succeed after the Correa disaster. And believe me dude I really really hope I'm wrong about him. But in a way he is a repeated mistake more similar to Correa than u think
hes already shown way more than correa has, and what is this trait you speak of? whats with you and talking vague and top secret about something and saying "just wait, youll see what im talking about!". i mean that really leaves the door open for you to say i told ya so if they bust later on.

Wow, couldn't be more precise.

since were looking at the 16th pick(i think) and i doubt we would trade up, i would actually prefer a trade back. if quenton nelson goes before our pick, and assuming other high end talents are gone, i think mark andrews brings the biggest possible upgrade of any likely first round picks. as much as everyone here hates the idea of waiting to take a wr, i think this is a very mid-loaded wr class and a weak one at the top. i like courtland sutton, but im not taking him at 16. trade back for another second, take mark andrews, best 2nd round wr available, and god dammit maybe even another wr in the 2nd, or go andrews-wr-ol with a guy like rankin or wynn. hell if we could land dj moore in the third after having a 1 and 2 like that we would be looking good.

say we trade back to 24, then go mark andrews - cedrick wilson - isaiah wynn - dj moore if that would be possible. thats a goddamn haul.

Do u really wanna go thru this again like when u repeatedly stood up for Correa?? Damn the new draft picks are always better than yesteryear eh?? There is no if he busts. Bowser is a bust. Write it down!! He has shown more than Correa. But come on dude that's not saying much. Watch him again and again. Not a chance he is beating NFL tackles. He is a friggin BUST!! Give one more point to Decosta

On a side note I'm really liking Deebo Samuel. He is shaping up to be quite a rare talent!! If ravens could get him in 2 it's a win

Well I've watched and he's already proven he can beat NFL tackles. But since, there's no debating it...

Also, Samuel is returning to school

You know, I'm not his biggest fan but I think James Washington is tailor made for our offense. He could step in a be a day one starter.

He doesn't run a full route tree but we don't really ask our WR to run complex routes anyway. Comeback routes, deep routes and crossing routes, that's it basically. And he runs all of them at a high level.

What sets him apart is his ability to track the ball, box out cornerbacks and attack the ball.

I legit think Christian Kirk is a Ravens type pick. It's not a pick that we will all be okay with but when have we really been happy with the picks lately? None of us were universally happy with our past 2nd round picks, Perriman or much of our recent early picks.

Honestly, the only time I was pumped about a pick that I wanted badly was Humphrey's and Maxx. Outside of that I can't myself that I was hyped when we picked Perriman, Correa, or even Jerningan.

bowser has thoroughly beaten nfl tackles in 1v1 rush situations, he has pursued incredibly well and taken great angles consistently, he has been a pretty sound tackler, and has shown great burst and speed and been quite slippery in traffic. his only struggles have been in edge setting. correa literally struggled everywhere and looked completely overmatched as a rookie and a sophomore, i remember him with a full head of steam hitting a LT who was standing still and correa came off his feet and almost fell the fuck down. i defended him because he was a high effort and highly athletic guy and i thought with enough work and study he could improve, but he just doesnt have it between the ears or physically, bowser has both and its apparent everytime he plays

Ok then so you are saying Bowser should begin standing out next year?? Cuz he beat a tackle. Cuz I'm giving u fair warning. BUST!! As for Tim Williams there's things he can get better at. But I wouldn't label him a bust as of yet. But Bowser will never be anything better than Solid at best.

im saying bowser already stood out as a rookie.

U call that standing out?? Carl Lawson stood out as a rookie. Bowser showed up. Bowser will never be anything close to Lawson.

That sucks Deebo is returning to school. Waters down the receiver talent that is available

So anyone who didn't have 8.5 sacks is a bust is what you're trying to say?

But you’ve already called Bowser a bust. We will refer to this post. Write that down
