I know he is a former Giant's TE. I think he had a good year or so.Was Larry Donnell the former Giant TE who tore the league a new one for a bit?

I actually like that signing. He's good with contested grabs and such.Looks like we signed TE Larry Donnell. Doesn't look good for Gilmore. Waived WR Tim Patrick to make room.
He had a good year in 2014 and then started getting hurt. He's a pretty solid player. Not a bad signing, in fact could be under the radar a bit. Could be a red zone Machine. Was Larry Donnell the former Giant TE who tore the league a new one for a bit?
I'd like to know this as wellAlso, Canady didn't practice today, but was completely fine yesterday, so I want to know how reporters are getting this info on his knee if it wasn't reported or confirmed?
The packers won the super with the most players on IRTeams who lead the league in IR don't have good seasons. Every session is a season ending injury. EVERY ONE. i dread training camp. Look at every other team. Nothing, nadda..1 or 2 at worst.
There is a 1-32 chance of us leading the league in IR and we have done it 3 times in a row.
Pessimistic or realist?
THe latter
The Giants had more IRd players in 2015 then we did. We had more significant ird players but they had more. I don't know the numbers from last year thoughTeams who lead the league in IR don't have good seasons. Every session is a season ending injury. EVERY ONE. i dread training camp. I'd like to say I'm not worried about Flacco, but how can you not be? There is a total loss of trust in the teams ability to accurately report the severity of injuries and as a result I find myself worried about any injury to any significant player until which time they prove they can get back on the field and appear close to 100%Only true huge loss here in my eyes is Tavon Young. Flacco's injury was at home and since that's him training on his own time/doesn't seem all that serious I'm not worried. Dixon is a really talented running back but at the end of the day, unless you have an Adrian Peterson type at running back you're not screwed. Canady's doesn't sound too serious tbh. We would have heard more about it at this point if it was. Could miss a few weeks, could miss the year. We should wait till the report. And we all know Crockett is a ticking time bomb anyway.
I do agree some of the blame is going to Harbaugh(by next season it won't matter. The likelihood that he's gone along with Ozzie is pretty high imo), but some of these were just legit freak injuries.

The move we made after Flacco's injury is very indicative to me about the severity: the team doesn't really feel that worried. They probably would have gone to sign Kaepernick, or someone better than Olson if they were actually really worried(especially since Mallet has been HORRIBLE). Plus HE said that the back specialist wasn't too concerned if he rested. Not Harbuagh.I'd like to say I'm not worried about Flacco, but how can you not be? Since there is no one more critical to our success, I'm still worried.
They still had an absurdly good defense. It was the offense that took the hit and we all know about Aaron Rodgers. The packers won the super with the most players on IR

I think taking it easy would be the best thing for him to do.
Waller sucksIf I told everyone here that before a preseason game we would not have
- Tavon Young
- Kenneth Dixon
-Crocket Gillmore
-Darren Waller
-Maurice Canady (?)
-Denis-Pitta
and Joe flacco would have a lay off too.
Is Malcolm butler available for a 2nd rounder?
I'd do it.
you may very well be correct. i will research it. thanksI don't think he can be on pup if he's already practiced in training camp.
Dixon was injured at home as well. Most of these were not in camp and none of them were in full uni. Meaning no tackling. @Sami84 is totally off baseWaller sucks
Dixon was suspended anyway
Pitta wouldn't be a surprise at all given the hip he has
Canady is still a massive unknown
Crockett is like clock work
Flacco will hopefully(knock on wood) be ready for the regular season
I see one move I'm truly panicking about and it's Tavon. Dude's a stud. And even then, that was clearly a freak injury.
I mean, I like Dixon, but RB isn't a position you need a mega stud at in order to be good. This isn't 1986. Terrence West is a solid player and we could trade for Carlos Hyde or sign Matthews or something to fill the gap one year. A stop gap at runningback would not kill us.
Quit complaining about everything.

I believe Canady can be a playmaker as well. Great pick especially if he continues improving. If he's seriously injured that would be a shame, but the majority of knee injuries are non contact injuries and they haven't been tackling yet and they aren't allowed to practice tackling more than once or twice a week per the CBA. This practice regimen is not contributing to the injuries.I feel canady is a playmaker. We are also now thin at CB if he is out. We are working towards a season where we start poaching from practice squads because i can assure you that jimmy smith will probably get hurt again.
